so. i actually do wanna set one thing straight. i like the idea of batman being like a cryptid. no one truly knows who or what he actually looks like. all the stories are different because batman sticks to the shadows. he’s in and out in a flash. he uses his gadgets to cut off power or makes (harmless) gases that causes illusions. the one thing that i value in batman is his ability to not be seen but to be heard. heard through stories of legends and tales bent on fear. the same thing that causes someone to double take and question what they are about to do - because the myth goes that there is a beast roaming gotham. a guardian. a protector. a monster.

yes my batman is afro jamaican and he is so fucking canon divergent. since the bio isn’t up yet - here’s the down and dirty. in his younger years he was

1. raised in the hood even though his parents were able to move out, they stayed for family and to help those in their neighborhood. 2. when they died bruce found his way into the gang life style as he was taken in by a family friend who was involved. 3. bruce was nearly killed and found by alfred, who took him in and started helping him redirect his path into education and making a better life for himself. 4. there really isn’t any getting out of a gang, unless you’re gonna die. so guess who disappears to save his life and future. 5. when bruce does get up in the world with his company, expect me to discuss how despite being a self-made business man - he is still discriminated against of his color and finds many cooperate heads challenging his position and intelligence 6. boy do i love the fact that bruce understands that their are so many children without dads or even good families, so he makes after school programs and safe houses for run aways and children in hard times so they can still be able to live and learn without fear. 7. god, bruce wayne ??? making shelters for abused women ?? and helping them through therapy and recovery programs that give them confidence and a place to stand in the world ? helping out single moms who are looked down in society because the father is no where around ?? yes please. 8. can we give an amen to the over seas education facilities that bruce has made in third world countries so kids and young adults can have a chance to take care of themselves and their families. 9. THE REHAB PROGRAMS BRUCE HAS FOR CONVICTS ONCE THEY LEAVE JAIL. Because yall be wondering why the same people go back to jail ? over and over ? because its a recycling system that when the government takes away everything you have - your record, the ability to get a good home and relying on section 8, can’t get a job, cant make a life - no wonder they go back into crime because its the only way to make money and get what they need. So you better believe your ass bruce has programs for those who want to have a second chance CAN EARN THEIR PLACE BACK IN SOCIETY. FUCK YEAH.
