One piece au where on one of the adventures pre-timeskip Luffy (who is under the impression that the people in gray terminal literally burned to death instead of most of them being saved by the revs) sees one the people from gray terminal (they joined the revs after being saved) and he just stares at them. And one of the crew noticed and is like luffy?? You good??? But luffy just keeps staring at this random guy who eventually realizes hes being stared at before looking back and recognizing whos staring at him and luffy sees that hes been recgonized so it totally IS that guy from gray terminal who definitely burned to death and i feel like this is a very interesting and fun way to turn a chase through the city into meeting Sabo early :)

Everyone Hates Jason was supposed to get readers to dislike him too but jokes on DC because I love Jason so much more than literally any other character in this franchise, I am perfectly willing to buy that my special blorbo is the most misunderstood maligned tragic boy in the world. “Genealogy” of Jason Todd

I’ve said before that post-crisis Jason Todd writing is interesting because it’s a live conversation about who he is. Here is how I visualize that. Black arrows are a continuation of the previous characterization and red arrows indicate a rebuttal or reframing.

Batman & Robin 23-25 is in a weird spot because it’s a rebuttal to Batman & Robin 1-6 but isn’t a continuation of any other line.

One thing I'm immensely grateful for is that the fans who are weird about the al ghuls don't generally know about the 2 times Jason was considered to become the leader of the league. I dont think I'd know peace if they did
