Now that Jasper was out of college and had a actual paying job to help support everyone in their little family (and without having to bother trying to support his brat of a sister), Jas admittedly had been drowning himself in work. That afternoon in particular trying to work on a piece that wasn’t even going into the paper until Tuesday. He’d let Damien tug on his free hand and occasionally ruffled the little boys hair until Alan pulled him away. The brunette looked up at his partner and laughed, setting the pen down and turning to face them both. “I guess I could take a little break. What do you say Damien? Should we get Daddy Alan down on the couch so we can tickle him to death?” Standing up, Jasper pressed a kiss the forehead of Damien before kissing the corner of Alan’s mouth. “I’ll take the rest of the day off.”
“Don’t go giving him any ideas!” Alan smiled, nonetheless, glad Jasper hadn’t put up a fight about it. He put his arm around the man as he stood, smiling up at him. “Thank you.” He leaned up, kissing Jas lightly. “Dec made some cocoa, if you’re interested. I know eggnog’s not really your game.” He’d had to remind Dec that Jasper didn’t drink, otherwise it would have been purely alcoholic beverages all across the board. Damien squirmed in his grip, bored now that nothing was going on, making Alan groan. “We’re going, we’re going! You’ve got ants in your pants, huh, Damien?”
