People can either call me Bluez, Tenmei-Cherry (and variations of this) or any of my sonas names. I'm not too picky. I go by They/He, but I don't really care if people use other pronouns.
I'm a self taught artist, pretty mediocre at art but I try my best. I'd like to think I'm pretty friendly, so feel free to talk to me. You can talk either via asks or dms I don’t mind which. I also don’t mind people asking questions about ocs and such, if you specifically want to ask an oc and get a drawn response make sure to add which oc your talking to in the ask lol.
I mainly draw creatures/animals/humanoid monsters. I do draw other things, e.g. my Jojo ocs.
I'm open to art trades/oc trades with mutuals (people who I interact with) all they gotta do is ask. I am also open to them with others too! It’s just I’m more likely to agree to one if I interact with that person. Just ask! I’d love to draw things for more people.

I'ma be watching the Backrooms movie soon :) So take some art of my sona Mono taking Xavior (bitty) around the backrooms lmao
day one of making this blog I had the backrooms as my header image, as well as having it in the background of my intro post art too lol. So since I'm gonna be watching the film soon, I figured I better draw something relating to my sona and the backrooms lol.
Due to being in a au/ship with Graves, will be adding some of Graves' tags here.

-More so basic notes, e.g. notes about design and other stuff, rather than notes about personality or anything.
-Human (despite the looks, going for the grey looks most use for a Y/N / Reader character)
-For the most part Y/N won’t have many notes, as they’re meant to be a stand in for someone wanting to project. They will be the default human I will draw in artwork with Graves, either that be just general artwork of Graves hunting them, or ship artwork.
-The reason I gave this Y/N more of an actual design, rather than just a blank grey body, is mainly just down to myself wanting to draw more of a character with Graves, if I’m going to spend time on an art piece I would like to at least like the other half (the Y/N design).
-I’m okay with people drawing over the Y/N to add their own ocs/characters. But can understand it might be difficult due to Y/N having an actual design.
-Goes by They/Them, but can use any pronouns.
-Y/N’s soul trait is ‘Life’ (think of how the soul in “A Date With Death acts”).
And also protects Y/N from any magical harm. This includes from monsters who are beings of magic.
If it detects any sort of threat it will ‘shock’ the magic system of the magical threat.
To add to this when Y/N is depressed/etc the trait of the soul’s magic defence will lessen or even disappear.
-I will be doing shipart of Y/N with Graves, so expect some dark romance aspects, whenever I do any writing/artwork I will make sure to add relevant tw tags.
-Also to add to this, Y/N and Graves’s backstory together e.g. how they meet, might be vague yet again another thing for people to project and think about. Thou certain drawings/writings I may do might refer to a specific backstory, but I won’t point to one and say it’s canon.
-Y/N may flip personalities between artwork/notes/stories, because they’re meant to more so be a blank canvas to project onto. But for the most part I’m going to try to keep them a nervous person, I would be nervous too if a giant monster was hunting me down.
-For the most part Y/N is like a “I can’t fix him, but I sure am gonna watch him crash and burn” sort of person towards Graves.

Design notes:
-Heart motif throughout the design. E.g. The hair fringe being a slight-elongated heart shape, heart swirl in the ponytail/bottom of hair, hearts on the clothing. Mainly representing their soul.

-He/It, Pansexual
-Is a Dust!Gaster!Sans variant
-Is 7’5, tall af, but tends to hunch over most of the time. So most don’t truly see how tall he is.
-One of the very few monsters to escape monsters being sealed underground, is a boss monster, high magic/reserves and is older than most monsters.
-Before monsters got sealed, the monsters technological advancements far exceed humans, though unlike humans, a lot of their advancements was to help people/etc, where as human’s technology only tended to advance rapidly in times of war.
-Graves is 3 separate beings combine into one. Sans and Gaster were royal scientists to the king on the surface, and was working on a machine, what they were working on has been lost to time, but the results were not what they had expected or had worked towards. The machine had the capability to combine multiple souls into one.
It was intended to be shut down. But the day it was to be, something happened, someone appeared, which was Dust, no one knows where he came from or why he looked like Sans, but a fight ensued, and Dust, Sans, and Gaster fell into the machine. Leading to them getting scrambled into the same being.
-Graves had destroyed the machine before it could be used further. And ended up reporting to the king on the matter, in which Graves was to continue working as a royal scientist.
-During this time war broke out, though Graves wasn’t on the battlefield at the time, he was with his royal scientist coworkers. Due to being a boss monster with high magic out put he tried to rush to the battle. But was too late as monsters had already been sealed. So he tried to return to his coworkers, though the humans had found them already, and slaughtered them.
Leaving Graves alone, and on the run from humans.
-It had occurred to him to kill humans to use them to open the barrier, but he knew if he was to release monsters any time soon, that the war would just come back, and this time monsters would most likely not be spared.
So Graves waited, and waited.
-Over time human’s lost the art of monster technology, this includes magic food. And slowly lost their history of magic and wars. But by that time Graves mind had deteriorated, and freeing monsters no longer became something he thought about much.
And when he does think about it, it fills him with panic, he’s rejected by humans, and due to where his current mind and actions are right now, he would be rejected by his own kind too.
-Due to losing monster’s magic food on the surface, he resorts to eating human souls (doesn’t absorb them, eats them), as well as consuming human blood (which he can surprisingly stomach).
Cannot stomach human food, will violently throw it up, his body is not made to eat that.
-Graves’s memory is 3 in one, though he can’t access Dust’s memory, mainly because the mind blocked the memories due to it being traumatic. Graves is his own person, the 3 he’s comprised of don’t exist any more, so no one to ‘take him over’. Though the remnants of their personality still live on within Graves.
-His mood tends to be all over the place, sometimes coming across as malicious, playful, or calm.
Sometimes he has his moments where he ‘spaces’ out, where he seems self-aware of what he’s become.
Will become passive in those ‘spaced’ out moments, though how long these moments last is at random.
-Is actually quite chatty, in the past he was quiet and reserved but over time after monsters had been sealed, got more chatty, even if it was just to entertain himself.
-Over a period of time lost his mind/hallucinations/compulsive and obsessive behaviour. Will often hallucinate his last victims.
-Due to getting so used to consuming a living beings soul, if he was to meet monsters again, he’d still eat souls including monster souls. To add to this, he has met one or two monsters who also escaped the sealing, and did just that.
-Most humans in this au aren’t that strong soul trait wise. But some humans have very strong souls, those are the souls he enjoys most to consume.
-Due to eating human souls, his magic reserves and output at higher than normal boss monsters
-Has a soft spot for kids, won’t kill them, will fly into a rage if someone hurts a child near him. Doesn’t realise that he will most likely scare kids alone with his presence. To also add to this, he also has a soft spot for cute animals.
-Has a vague soft spot for people who are really weak, finding them cute and pathetic. Has often times also gone out of his way when chasing people, if someone purposely gets left behind/out by the others running from him, he will be like “oh shit, that's such a shitty thing for them to do, leaving you for dead like that to save their own skin. Dw :) I will let you go this time, I’ma go after them instead”.
-smoke often blows out of his mouth, almost like dragon smoke, can be different colours depending on mood.
-Mainly uses magic to fight/attack. But in terms of physical weapons he may use; Pickaxe, Machete, Hammer, Metal fence bent to look like Wolverine claws

Design notes:
-The remains of the scarf attached to his jacket are from Dust.
-Face is never seen, even shining a light into the hood a face is never seen.
-Doesn’t have to have a mouth seen, as long as his eye/crack under eye is seen it’s fine.
-Tentacles are optional, can have as many as he wants, and they can be thicker or thinner than what is seen in the ref. (A product of Gaster)
-Holes in his hands (From Gaster)
-Tends to always have his ecto active, even though his muscles aren’t really seen under his baggy clothing.
-His tail wags like a dogs tail when happy, and flicks like a cats tail when annoyed. When neutral will have it slowly swaying behind him. When hunting/alert it is still. And when sad it will curl up around one of his legs.

Finally got around to drawing Ren!Dust's face (since it's usually hidden in darkness), and Ren!Fresh without his shades.

I probs won't draw Ren!Dust's face much. I literally only drew it (and Ren!Fresh) to figure out what he'd look like so I can attempt to make him in tomodachi life. So thank the game if you ever wanted to see what his face looks like.
