Okay so. The Twisted Nightmare System:
-Virgil is the "host." He's got generalized anxiety disorder and DID and he's been going to therapy off and on since he turned 18. He's prone to panic attacks and has a hard time communicating when he's anxious but he's trying his best. He's technically known that he was plural since he was a teenager but didn't feel super comfortable being open about it for a long time and has only recently begun to open up to his new famILY
-Anxiety is a protector. He's kind of a dick tbh, mostly to other people but also sometimes to other headmates if he thinks they're doing something dangerous. Also a bit of a compulsive liar, which Virgil hates. Absolutely hates Janus and still hasn't forgiven him for *mumble mumble backstory that I haven't fully figured out yet*
-Andy is slightly younger and acts a little more immature than Virgil and Anxiety, but he's also by far the most outgoing of all of them. Huge social butterfly, great at getting along with pretty much anyone. He clicks well with Remus especially though bc he likes being playfully annoying and he's a huge horror movie fan. Andy probably gets yelled at by Anxiety the most out of all of them lol
-Fear/Angel is a syskid, I'd say elementary school-ish aged. He's very cautious, easily overwhelmed, and cries a lot, but he's also a huge Disney fan and usually pretty easy to calm down by putting on a Disney movie. He's low-key scared of Janus and Remus, and has only recently become comfortable fronting in front of other people- particularly Patton bc he feels like he can trust Patton to know how to take care of him the best
I'm also kinda considering giving them an introject but I haven't decided who. I'm thinking a Disney villain though.
Also like I said in the tags, they chose the name Twisted Nightmare System when they were like 17 and even though they're adults now and know that it's a kind of cringey name they also don't want to change it (Virgil is kind of sentimental about it, Anxiety hates change, and neither Andy nor Angel care about being cringe).
Some of the backstory for them that I've been thinking about: they grew up in a small town, in a shitty family (obviously), and weren't able to go to therapy or even think about trying anxiety meds until they were 18. They were homeless for a little while, then lived with Janus and Remus until it became kind of a mess between the three of them, but by that point they had a steady job and a supportive friend group who were able to help them find a place of their own (and who also encouraged all three of them to go to therapy bc they all had issues but that's not the point hkgjfj)
so yeah um. like I said I don't have all the details figured out but. I love them & I'd love to talk about them more if anyone wants to play toys together...
