I just wanna correct something here!
Averno was a shit show; the concept team running it was cult-like 100% and the list of things wrong with the whole debacle is longsee, grooming, exploitation of minors, cultural appropriation, racism. and more.
But one thing that it was not, was a psychedelic based cult.
Psychedlics/drugs were never involved or at least never mentionned.
I've gone back an re-read The Document tm for the first time in about 4 years. I'd like to note that sadly I was wrong and as per a note added later on by August in their statement, mild psychoactives were used by Morgan on some of the concept team members.
It still doesn't make it a psychedelic cult, but it does add drugging to the list of deeds done by M. Smith
