This right here. After I came out as gay I was abandoned by the majority of my white classmates. Wouldn't talk to me unless it was to tell me they were praying for me or I was going to hell. Guess who was still there everyday and treated me like a human...? Every BIPOC... Mostly the girls, but I was still shown respect. Growing up as a weird kid some of the friends I had were BIPOC. Was taught love and respect at home by my mother for everyone. First year at college I was welcomed by the international students.

In my life I have felt more love by BIPOC, International Students, Immigrants, and LGBTQ+ people. Thats my life. I value people of different labels. Whatever they choose to label or not label themselves as. I don't ever want to look around and feel like I am drowning in a glass of milk. That's not the life I want to live. I see beauty in all people.
