Hi! Iām new to Tumblr and donāt really get how this works BUT I love anime, reading fantasy fiction books, making my bullet journal and occasionally writing some fanfiction!
A percabeth mini fic inspired by the song Better ( by Jeremy Passion)
TW// slight mention of sexual activity
"If they say we're a good looking couple
Well, better give you the credit"
She hadn't looked up in 23 minutes.
Not that Percy minded.
It's just that there was a Yankees Game on in 20 minutes, and Annabeth had promised that she'd be out of the bookstore in a tight 10.
Then again, Percy didn't really mind sitting beside her as she "flipped through" (got 70 pages deep into) a book that looked so thick, he would cry if he had to get through it.
No, he could never mind sitting next to her, watching the sunlight through the window hit her face, the hem of her shirt slightly pushed up from sitting up against the bookshelves, feeling her fingers occasionally rubbing against his.
"You two make such a lovely couple."
Percy looked away from Annabeth, and Annabeth from her book.
An old lady passing through the aisle was smiling at them.
"It's all her ma'am," Percy said with a smile.
"Well arenāt you sweet."
She left, leaving Percy with a slight blush on his cheeks.

"Honestly, I should thank you for making me miss the first half of this absolute shit game of baseball,"Percy said, switching the television off with a sigh. "Should I make us some dinner?"
There was no answer. That however, only alarmed him slightly. It wasn't uncommon for Annabeth to be engrossed in something or the other.
He turned around to call out her name, but stopped when he saw her sitting on the stool by the kitchen counter.
Her brows were furrowed and she was looking at Percy like one of her puzzles, like something wasn't quite right.
"Beth? Annabeth, what's wrong?"
"Did you mean what you said? Back at the bookstore?"
"About never wanting to read anything ever, yeah I did. You weren't serious when you said that bothered you were you?"
"Not that, Seaweed Brain. The part about me being the good looking one."
"Oh, that. Of course I did. I know you're way out of my league."
"Don't kid with me."
"I'm not. I mean look at you," he said, getting closer to her, running his hands through her hair, "You have, as Leo has reminded us several times - a bangin' bod, not to mention all the smart stuff that makes you sexy as hell."
"And what about you?"
"What about me? Beth, where is this going?"
"It's just - in the bookstore, I couldn't remember the last time I or anybody else complimented you. Or appreciated how- how handsome you are. In fact all I could remember is how you deflect compliments when your mum gives them to you."
"Well obviously, she's my mum. She has to call me her - handsome little buttercup or whatever.ā
"You're deflecting again. Can I - Can I show you what I mean?"
He shrugged and nodded yes. "Sure."
She hopped off the stool and pushed him to the couch, making him sit while she got on his lap.
"Your eyes," she said, grazing her fingers down the sides of his temple "are the most beautiful shade of green I've ever seen. My favorite green - to be specific."
"Your hair," she said, running her hands through his curls, giving him goosebumps, "is so messy and unruly and so you. I love combing through it and making it messier."
She tugged his hair back, exposing his neck.
Annabeth placed the softest line kisses down his neck, ad pushed his shirt up. "Your body - Percy you have the body of a god. It's the body that has saved me a million times - Its the only body I ever want."
Percy's let out a groan. He pulled her back up to kiss him and whispered in a hoarse voice, "Annabeth, bed."
His eyes were hooded with lust but she didn't miss the glisten of tears in the corner.

He laid next to her, panting a little, hungry, with no idea how to feel.
"Annabeth?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you."
She simply smiled at him, not knowing what to say when those eyes she loved were so full of emotion, so intense, so intimate.
He swallowed, taking a breath before saying, "I knew from the beginning that I was going to fall in love with you but you're so much better than what I ever imagined love could be like."
