Goodness, isn’t the Wind Region a pretty sight?

I had been really troubled so I took a short break from the mirror. I did a lot of meditation, trying to find something to center myself around. I don’t know if I found it exactly, but it helped a lot... So I’ll try to be more active from now on. :^)

((Character personality stuff under the cut? I’ve kind of lost grasp on Zephyr as a character and hope to reform them in a way that is easier for me to understand...))

((“A shy, sweet and dreamy type of person, very introverted and quiet, the type of person who puts people off of their guard. They behave the same way on or off duty, but their soothing demeanor is marred by their ruthlessness that accompanies them when they are an acting soldier. Doesn’t care or feel much empathy towards others.” This is the original paragraph used to describe who Zephyr was initially, but I feel this is too vague of a description? Character brainstorming here. I want to return to shy and sweet, very distracted and dreamy. They believe in kindness, but are not hesitant to be cruel when the situation calls for it, such as in their job. They are incredibly self conscious and a tad insecure, but they are very determined. They genuinely like people, but they are hesitant to get close to others. They are very lonely. The shy and sweet act is not so much an act but an actual side of themselves, but the issue is that there is also a kind of bloodthirsty, asshole side of him that bubbles up.

Like, has good and bad thoughts- but bottles up the bad side so much that it comes out in extreme bursts. They are quick to panic and a little paranoid about what others think of them. They enjoy thoughts of fantasy and could be stronger as a person if they were more confident and applied focus. They are an angry drunk. They care for others, yet struggle empathising with them? Still struggling with ideals passed down by their family and trying to grow as a person... the only thing is in what direction? ))

Have to write down a reminder of last night’s dream before I forget. Something about bears the size of mice? All of them collecting Bones. In the dream I forgot I had a baby but then it turned out I had several. Indigo, hostile mermaids, amalgams.

(( Ferr/Kyu: Zephyr is a little confused by these two. He doesn't understand why anyone would want to be in such a long term commitment with another person, and because of that struggles to understand anyone who does. Ferr is hard to read which makes Zephyr uncomfortable but also intrigued. Zephyr admires Kyu for her craft, but finds her a little bit too overzealous. Ultimately though, an interesting pair. Motty: Zephyr enjoys being around the fluffy kid! Motty helped him out a lot during the doppelganger situation, Motty is nice, innocent and pure, and a nice change from the type of people Zephyr meets through work.

Dweller: Zephyr hasn’t interacted with Dweller much, but can appreciate the alternative and serene vibe they’ve read from their posts. Whether or not that is Dweller’s actual vibe, they don’t know. Zephyr would like to find out more about Dweller. Izumi: A cranky old man. He seems to be talented with his sword, and that’s admirable enough. Zephyr’s impression of him is that he’s ultimately a chaotic good-doer, who may seem cranky but has a golden heart. If that turns out to be the case, Zephyr will be disappointed. That’s boring. A good person to not make an enemy out of. Anju: Accidentally befriended by Zephyr’s doppelganger and Zephyr doesn't have the heart to break it off. A little wild to Zephyr’s tastes, but Anju’s antics have turned out to actually be endearing to Zephyr. He wants to talk to her more often.))

32: How many pets have you own in your lifetime?That’s a little tricky! Officially, only one, my beloved companion! I call her Quartz, she’s a goldfish. I should take a reflection with her sometime. In my youth, I wasn’t allowed to have any pets… but that didn’t stop me from finding stray animals and feeding them whenever I was able. Now that I think about it, a lot of those strays might have been really dangerous… I used to feed a griffin with only one eye and it had claws the size of my arm.
