#155.5 - Though they are naturally timid Pokemon, as Cyndaquil mature they gain confidence when they learn to better control the fire on their backs. While young, their eyes are quite weak, causing them to constantly squint. When their eyes open fully, it’s a sign that they’re close to maturity and will experience and increase in firepower. The flammable spots that are developing on their head cannot produced a powerful flame yet, but their lengthening bodies increase their nimbleness, allowing them to quickly dodge and return attacks.

#156.5 - As Quilava age and significantly bulk up, they grow another layer of fur on top of their fire-resistant coat, which can cause fierce explosions when rubbed together. Their fire power is often linked to their emotions, so trainers should take care to treat their Quilava well and to have earned their respect before the evolution is complete. It is said that when a Typhlosion’s rage peaks, it becomes so hot that anything that touches it will instantly go up in flames.

#156.5H - .Believed to have been influenced by the spiritual energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui’s center, Quilava in Hisui evolve into a Fire/Ghost variant. During their evolution, Quilava begin to mellow out, often appearing to be staring into space; in actuality, they are observing the flow of life energy and spirits. As they become more and more influenced by the spiritual energy around them, Quilava’s fire will take on a spectral hue, developing the ability to purify wayward spirits.

#133.56 - Eevee’s irregularly configured DNA makes them extremely influenced by their environment. Any Eevee, if exposed for extended periods of time to a certain type of moss, is likely to evolve into Leafeon. The moss spores get caught in Eevee’s fur, and over time the Pokemon’s cells will become so similar to those of plants, that it will grow several sprouts and can even perform photosynthesis, causing the air around these maturing Eevee to always be clean and pure. Their new sprouts smell like fresh grass, and darken in color with age.

Thermeon (Ice/Fire)

#??? - An Ice/Fire type Eeveelution, known locally as Thermeon, occurs almost exclusively from human involvement and can be triggered when an Eevee lives closely with a trainer in a frigid, snowy region, where they are frequently exposed to the duality of the harsh outside cold and a hot indoor fire. However, wild Thermeon have been discovered living alongside both Ice and Fire-type Pokemon, proving it is possible for them to evolve without human intervention. These Eeveelutions grow thick, fluffy fur that allows them to cool off their body temperature when indoors and also insulate themselves in the cold. They are capable of channeling heat through their lower legs, keeping them warm during blizzards and enabling them to spend an endless amount of time in frigid weather. Thermeon also possess small flame pouches in their cheeks, which keep their faces warm and generate the flames used in their fire attacks. They are able to extinguish their internal flames on command, enabling them to blend in with the snow around them and disappear into their white surroundings. With this ability, Thermeon are able to both escape opponents and sneak up on prey, unseen, before launching a volley of elemental attacks.
