I couldn't resist my fate. Maybe it should've turned out differently, but there's no way to change a lost timeline.

I wanted Noel to be happy and safe. I wanted him to come out alive. But Caius didn't want that for him, either.. and so he was slain, just like me.

Everything fell to chaos. Everyone who we had met in our travels around the different places seemed to suffocate underneath the weight of the chaos that wrapped around them.

It was the world that Caius wanted.. How he wanted to save Yeul from her fate as a Seeress. Killing the Goddess. 

Lightning.. Why didn't you save us?

Curious contentment washed over porcelain features, hazed eyes lingering along the new area. Unfamiliarity struck her hard and wonder stirred awake.
