I honestly have no idea what I'm doing, I just joined because of fellow KHUx fans I follow on Twitter. Avatar and banner put together from sketch commissions I got from twitter.com/MugiwaraMikey, then colored myself.
Probably about time I made a pinned post. 😅I came to Tumblr for Kingdom Hearts Union χ (the best Kingdom Hearts game of all time) after Twitter started going downhill and while I do have other interests, such as 7th Dragon, Pokémon Crystal Version, Sonic Adventure, Dragon Quest Builders, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and Code Vein; a big one has been interactive fictions. I first discovered those in high school as a Website hosting Zork wasn't blocked by the school's filters and after rediscovering them by accident here on Tumblr, they've become a new hyperfixation. I've always loved to read (parents would actually ground me from books as punishment) and I also love video games, especially RPGs.
It took me three weeks to finish Day One's so I'm running behind on the rest 😅, but this pair of old screenshots is what inspired me. As for the reasoning behind the ghost form, it's because she's quiet and tends not to stick out much (at least, not until Ephemer disappears and she starts asking questions).

This year, I'm gonna use the prompts to show off some of Morii's AUs!!
But also!! I'm gonna continue using some for her base AU's KH2 Journey like last year as well!! I'm going to indicate which AU it is in every title! (No indication = the base AU)
This is her KHUX/ML AU, where she is essentially just The Player going through the events of KHUX and Missing Link!
I'd like to think she found her way to Daybreak Town on her own, either on accident or because she heard of the unions, and was then found by Aced just on the outskirts of town. That's when he recruited her into his union, and the story goes on how it does canonically!- :3
I'm not really proud of how this turned out, but yesterday i found out the prompt list and i really wanted to participate (even if most likely this would be the only entry i will submit).
Anyway, here's day 1:
Daybreak town
I've been wanting to draw the first encounter between kai and ephemer for way too long, almost since the game came out and i loved ephemer and player interactions. I want to keep rambling about the dynamic with these two, but since english is not my first language... yeah, i don't feel comfortable enough to write a lot.
Hi KH fandom! Told yall I was working on some OC stuff before I get back into the soriku mines, lmfao.
Anyway, I wanted to do the @khoc-week again and maybe finish this one, but this OC (who I did this with last time) isn't exactly the keyblade swinging type, so all the world travel prompts are less fun for me. Rules say we can pick previous year's prompts so I'm going with the list from 2021 since I can think of some cool stuff for all of those is one of these ALSO world travel? Yes, but it's not ALL of them so it's fine lmao.
So this is day 1: Reference sheet (with some fun extras thrown in, like the awakening scene and the platform itself though I think that also counts as part of the reference sheet bit? Either way.)

This is Lira. Her reference page features her color palette (mostly shades of pink with some black and white high contrast thrown in), her eye and brow shape/coloring (a seafoam green with a pink highlight in comparison to her cousin, Kairi's, a purple toned blue also with a pink highlight), and her height in comparison to other KH characters:
Aeleus is tallest at well over a head taller than Lira at any point in her story.
Next is Terra, both post KH3 and BBS being about a head taller than Lira at those same points. He has retained the age (and height) he gained when Xehanort/Xemnas was using his body.
Lira herself grows from her height in BBS and then remains the same height throughout her adult ages.
Kairi is smallest and remains the smallest at her BBS, KH1, and KH2 heights. She comes up to Lira's ribs in BBS, her chin in KH1, and her eyes in KH2 beyond (until her own adulthood, which isn't featured on this sheet).
She uses plant based magic, including:
The ability to conjure flowers (used for fun, not fighting).
Thorns as a defense (early on is just as likely to hurt herself as an enemy).
Excels at cures and potions once properly taught.
Magical green thumb (helpful for a gardener like herself).
BBS Lira:
Baby.
Pictured at 16 Years old. Born and lives in Radiant Garden with cousin Kairi and Grandma.
She wears her hair in a half-up topknot with the ends sticking out like an anime character.
She wears a pink and white dress and pink closed toe sandals with red straps on the dress and sandals. On her right arm she wears a thin pink and chunky red bracelet and a black scalloped edge cuff on the other.
She meets Terra while he's visiting RG and is rescued by him from unversed while she's hanging out with Aerith. She immediately starts puppy crushing on him.
She is the go-to Radiant Garden babysitter.
She doesn't like/trust Braig because he 'feels like a liar'. She cannot explain why.
KH1 Lira:
Pictured at 26 Years old. Escaped to Traverse Town with the RG refugees 9 years prior.
She wears her hair twisted up in a bun with a long ponytail sticking out like an anime character.
She wears a black and pink dress with a white and red bodysuit underneath and a thick red belt around her waist. Her boots are black and white with scalloped details and a red strap across the top. On her right arm she wears a black and white arm sleeve with scalloped edges and a red strap around the wrist, and a black scalloped edge cuff with a red strap on the other.
When Radiant Garden fell she tried to stay to find Kairi, but Leon forced her onto Cid's ship. She didn't forgive him for a good while after this but eventually did because she recognized he did it to save her. She feels guilty about the grudge after she forgives him.
She starts to learn magic from Merlin in this time.
She 'meets' Kairi when she gets brought back to Traverse Town while endgame KH1 stuff happens, but guilt and Kairi's lack of memories keep her from interacting much.
KH2/3 Lira:
Pictured at 27 Years old. Returns to Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden and helps the Restoration Committee (though she isn't a full member).
She wears her hair in a loose bun with the ends of her ponytail teased and sticking out like an anime character.
She wears a pink bodysuit underneath a black and white crop top and open-at-the-side skirt. There are red straps holding the top up and the skirt together. She wears a thick red belt at her hips. Her boots, over pink knee socks are black and white with pink and red piping details and a scalloped design at the tongue/tops, as well as a red belt at the ankle and two red straps across the top. She wears black and white arm sleeves with scalloped edges on both arms, her right is shorter and has a red strap at the wrist, the other is elbow length.
She still struggles to interact with Kairi until after Melody of Memory when Kairi starts remembering life in Radiant Garden.
She learns more specific defensive magic from Aqua and bonds with Kairi over this.
She runs into Terra again and forms an actual friendship with him. She soon develops a real crush (it's mutual).
Post KH3 Lira:
Pictured at 30 Years old. Lives in both Radiant Garden and Land of Departure (she and Terra travel back and forth for each other). In RG she houses any of the kids when they need it.
She wears her hair in a short teased cut like an anime character.
She wears a black, sleeveless, turtleneck bodysuit with a red strap choker. Over top of this is a pink white and red dress held closed at the top but open at the bottom. Her boots, under black thigh high socks with red straps at the tops, are white and pink with red piping details and four black straps across the tongue. She wears tight, red, sleeveless, elbow length gloves underneath a black and white arm sleeve with scalloped edges on her right arm and a short black and white fingerless glove with scalloped edges over top on her other hand.
Over time, from KH3 onward, she and Terra help each other heal from their respective lingering guilts. They form a romantic relationship and eventually marry (she is 29 at the time and Terra is 33).
She becomes pregnant at 31 (Terra is 35).
It's a girl.
They name Naminé as the godmother and Ienzo as the godfather (they didn't want to choose any keyblade wielders for this role and both Naminé and Ienzo are good with children, individually, and can work together well when needed).
(One of the faces on her station platform is another OC of mine, Rana, who I will post about another time, but they meet in Traverse Town before/during KH1 and bond over lost family.)
surprise, another round of @khoc-week, Day 1 - Daybreak Town.
It's been 7 years since I started to talk about my twins ocs, so I decided to focus more on another kid for this year, Roka.
Roka is an oc who I had a complicated relationship with: born just to carry some of my brain's ungliest pieces, but surprisingly, every passing year makes me feel better and this oc more dear to me, to the point that she's finally evolving over what was her planned lifespan to bloom into her own character.
Roka is a chronically sick kid. Her body fails her every day a bit more, but that doesn't make her less determined to do her part in town, Ursus' stubborness helps her hiding her frail feminine nature to the others by dressing up as a boy. No pity allowed. Being the weakest Ursus kid in town also makes her Aced's personal pain in the arse, he even tried training her himself, really digging into that little bit of patience he has... Surprisingly beneficial for him.
He grows very attached to the kid, to the point that when he discovers Roka's health's situation worsening he's the one asking Gula for help (a bit of headcanons about foretellers having specialized fields of interest, and gula's are alchemy, potions and medicine). Roka has nothing special but Gula owes one to Aced and even if great darkness looms on Daybreak Town announcing the war, he finds a little time to develop a potion for her, with the help of her assistant Leonna.
It's not a miraculous cure, Roka's life will depend by consuming it regularly, from now on. It's not perfect, but it's the best she has ever been so far. Aced and Gula confide in Luxu keeping an eye on her during her rehabilitation process so she doesn't wander around the tower and remains unaware of the chaos in town. This will be a very boring time because every foreteller is now very busy trying to keep things together, with poor results, so Luxu, the invisible one, the secret apprentice, the one nobody really cares about except the Master, starts to spend time with this sick but very amusing girl.
They bond nicely, and even after being "discharged" Roka has a way to always tell when it's him approaching her in town... Gestures, the pace, the little quirks. She has no idea how much feeling seen helps Luxu, now that everything is about to collapse. He has a role to fulfill. But maybe, just maybe, he can find a way to spare his new friend the sight of the fall of Daybreak Town,taking her somewhere else, somewhere safe... *continues in day 3*

But it's not that i have completely forget my other kids. art dump here, just simple life moments in town, old and new. The twins and Lupe have recently befriended Nyo, my good friend Onyx's oc. They live next to each other and sometimes have dinner together. Nyo works as apprentice blacksmith in the Moogle's shop and Touma is very interested in the language, so they have private lessons, kupo!
So, I decided participates KHOC to reconnect with the Kingdom Hearts that I’ve been distant for a long a while.
For Daybreak Town. I choose to sketch out my keykid, Dreamer, who I used to played as in Union Cross. That I decided to give her lore.
Basically, Dreamer deserted her union(Ursus) and Daybreak Town. All because she was plagued by visions and a voice, telling her to leave and her destiny lies elsewhere. She reluctantly gave in, leaving her home and friends behinds.
Carrying a few belonging that could carry, and her dearest partner, Chirithy. Heading to a far off land, guided by four stars that only she can see.

Hiya, it's been awhile since I did KHOC week. I was debating on which OC to use this year, so I decided to use Áine again. She has changed quite a bit since I first made her way back in 2019/2020 (estimate of the year she was developed). She is one of my most cherished ocs and I have become quite fond of her and her development as a character. For prompts, I'm probably gonna jump around with different ones from the previous years and do one for this year.
Áine is a young girl who lives in Radiant Garden. She isn't a keyblade wielder, nor does she know how to fight. Basically a damsel who is always in distress. She's pretty much an average girl who unfortunately (or fortunately) gets wrapped up in whatever shenanigans the universe decides to throw at her.
She likes her older sister, though they often argue a lot. Because of her sister's over protective nature, Áine grew up sheltered and a bit naive of how the world works around her. It didn't help when her world fell and she was separated from her only family and was pretty much forced to interact with strangers. Talking with anyone who isn't her sister or close friends is an absolute nightmare for her since she was taught to trust nobody.
Áine does yearn to grow up and be independent, but she's also in a never ending cycle of wanting to become an adult yet being afraid of stepping out of her comfort zone. Hilariously, it's Xigbar who helps Áine go through her insecurities and mature a bit. It's also Xigbar who causes Áine to go from being super shy to sassing back, which she frequently feels guilty about.
I used Colors! 3D on my Nintendo 3DS to draw the Fragment of Daybreak, a custom Daybreak Town-themed Keyblade inspired by the Stroke of Midnight that I envisioned as being the ultimate Keyblade in Missing Link. And if you have a Nintendo 3DS, you can even view it in 3D!
