reply to clarify i didn't mean making my own species, i meant making a member of the species. with all due respect it seems gatekeepy and harmful to keep traits behind a paywall. not to mention the sheer amount of hostility if someone accidentally violates that paywall. im personally just gonna draw my own thing, and if someone wants to get pissy at me for it, they're getting blocked

it does seem so, i personally like when there are items that allows users to access more traits

tbh i don't even give a shit anymore. im drawing whatever tf i want. if you get mad at me for being inspired by your species, admiring your work, and drawing my own, i think that says a fucking LOT about you.

i think referencing somebody’s work is alright, as long as you give credit. I can’t say the same about species though. I personally do think that making one offs inspired by a species is perfectly fine, as long as you’re not trying to sell them off as the species or use it to your profit, but making a species based off another is a little far.

the fact that terra staff already have issues moderating the species, yet almost all of them became staff in snugzi's. and knowing how a lot of them act in terras, all I can say is that snugzi might as well become a cash grab species that doesn't give a shit abt their community/rules.

you’re completely right, it seriously seems like Snugzi is intended to be Plan B in case shit goes down in Terra’s.

just joined that new CS by Kea, and I’m genuinely hoping it turns out good, compared to how bad some other CS are now.!
