I'm so scared of becoming like my childhood abusers. One of my dreams is to protect kids from pedophiles but I keep getting thoughts like "what if you become a pedophile" and I'm so scared.
Donât think about it too much anon. Youâll never become like them, you WONT become like them. You just have to keep telling yourself that. Everything will be okayÂ

i liked 2 safe-for-work age regression posts and then after that, a childporn blog interacted with one of my posts on my main blog. im so triggered right now. and it doesnt help that i felt triggered all day, especially right after waking up from a nap at 7 pm. thank you for your blog. it's helping me calm down. im so upset. i dont know if the cp blog found me through mutual followers or through the agere posts b/c they reblogged from someone i used to follow :(
Ugh thats so gross, I hope your okay. Iâm sending you lots of hugs and Iâm glad my blog helps you guys so much <3

% (Previous anon) No, no, no, I am a CSA survivor, myself! The question wasnât nessicarily about trying to invalidate CSA survivors (I understand their feelings completely), but rather why I donât feel as strongly as they do. I naturally sympathize with people, but when I try to say âIâm a CSA victim and all pedos maybe shouldnât dieâ, they react so... Weird. You assuming that Iâm not a CSA survivor because Iâm of this mindset is a good example, actually. Iâm awfully sorry for the confusion.
well, one, you didnât specifically state you were a CSA survivor with a differing opinion. I would have responded differently, the way your tone came off seemed like you were a non CSA survivor asking for assistance. So I donât appreciate you trying to blame me for something I didnât know about, I find it a bit rude so donât include me in your âexampleâ. And two, Iâm not sure what the point of this even is...are you trying to get me to sympathize with you or validate you? Because your entitled to your opinion and you shouldnât have to explain your trauma whenever you bring up your opinion. But try and keep in mind that often people who go through a traumatic event often sympathize more that others, just something to remember ya know? If that answers your question.Â

% All the CSA survivors Iâve met always say that every single pedophile, even if theyâre seeking help, should burn and suffer, and Iâm not sure I agree with that. I mean, do I hate them? Absolutely. Do I want to talk to them? No. Do I sympathize with them? AB-solutely not. But do I want them all to die when they COULD get help? No, not really. But Iâm scared to bring this up with anybody. Itâs just... A gross feeling. Do you have any thoughts?
um....I donât really like discourse here but Iâll try and answer this. If your uncomfortable with death I can understand. If you arenât a CSA survivor Iâm not saying you canât have an opinion, but you shouldnât try and talk over/ assert your own opinion on them. Most CSA survivors are often forced to try and sympathize with their abusers when they express their (justified) anger. Iâm not saying your doing that, but try and keep that context in mind if you do ever bring it up.Â
Like, if a friend is venting to you, and they talk about wanting pedophiles to die, donât be like âwell I donât think they should all die ya knowâ, but if its a casual discussion please tread likely. Also take into account the individual survivors feelings, they all arenât a monolith. Context of the conversation is important, donât just send them an ask saying âI donât think all pedos deserve to die :/â because it can come across as rude.Â
I hope I helped you out, have a nice day :-) -mod jade
#pedophile mention #discourse #asksÂ
I am cheering you on, keep going. You can do it, get that homework done, do that thing youâve been putting off, clear your desk. Youâre doing brilliantly :)
Iâm not sure if I would count as a CSA survivor. When I was 12, I got into a relationship with and sexted a man who pretended to be someone my age, before being found out my my mother and being forcibly taken away from him. For a long time, Iâve identifies as a CSA survivor, because âsexualâ is defined as ârelating to the... activities connected with... intimate physical contact between individualsâ, and âabuseâ is âtreat (a person or an animal) with crueltyâ, but lately I havenât been sure.
it was csa. you were coerced by an older man to be sexual with him.... I would consider that csa. and please dont look at your trauma as something that needs to âpassâ a certain number of qualifications to be able to be considered trauma. Sending sexts can be consider âsexual intimacyâ since you are showing that person your naked body, and itâs abuse because someone coerced you into thinking you were talking to someone your age. And even if that the man you were talking to you was your age or slightly older, it still isnât okay, it would be under the category of COCSA (child on child sexual abuse). So...try and focus on healing instead of scrutinizing yourself, okay?
