Living Allowance | AmeriCorps member receive a living allowance that is distributed bi-weekly.

Segal Education Award | Upon successful completion of one year of service, AmeriCorps members earn a $5,775 education award that can be put towards student loans or future educational expenses.

Loan Forbearance | AmeriCorps members may be eligible to have their loans temporarily postponed while they are serving

Childcare | AmeriCorps VISTA member may qualify for childcare assistance during their terms of service.

Health Benefits | All AmeriCorps VISTA members are eligible to participate in the Health Benefits Program at no cost.

CSUDH ASI Spring Fling

The Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) at CSU Dominguez Hills is hosting our first ever SPRING FLING! We are so excited to bring you a brand new event that features music, performances, food trucks, a beer garden, fun games, and vendor booths! Free for all CSUDH Students with a valid student ID and only $5 cash at the door for all other guests. MUSIC/PERFORMANCES Music and performances will feature former CSUDH students, including DJ Royelle, DJ Vera and C5. Music will range from hip hop to electronic. Bring your dancing shoes!! FOOD TRUCKS On site, there will be a variety of different food trucks to enjoy, including Brew Wings, Chanchos Tacos, Curbside Crabcakes and The Deli Doctor. In addition, a beer garden will be open for all those over the age of 21, which includes a great view of the stage. VENDOR BOOTHS There will also be a number of fun vendors to visit at the event. Make your own wax mold, get a personalized henna tattoo, visit the balloon artist, race through a fun obstacle course, and more! All of these are available at no additional charge and will be open the entire night. NOTE: The outdoor Pitch and Pale area is located nearby the Southeast Entrance to the Stubhub Center. Parking will be available in Lot 6 on campus with a valid permit. No re-entries will be allowed. All guests entering the facility during this event are subject to a metal-detector screening, visual inspection, and a bag inspection. Please refer to http://www.stubhubcenter.com/guest-services/event-policies for a prohibited items list for the facility. For both students and guests, we recommend you RSVP online to ensure a quick check-in at the event. For students, please present your RSVP ticket and a valid student ID at the door. Guests are asked to pay their $5 cash admittance fee at the door.
