I usually try not to bash Marlene. Yes, I make fun of the lies she tells about the show, all the plot holes, etc. but I never wanted to be too rough and too personal.

But this, Ladies and Gentlemen is I. Marlene King in 2014 talking about crazy fan theories, basically saying that she STOLE the idea of A being Spencer’s Twin from a FAN THEORY.

Seeing the photo of Troian/Spencer with 'Emisons' baby is so cute! I get a little sad realising we won't get to see Jason with his niece. That's the one thing I thought the PLL producers would bring him back for.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t a call the producers could make. 

Drew was originally slated to be back in 7x19 but because of his contract with Training Day, a show on a different network, the legal work didn’t come through so anything they had shot with him had been scrapped. 

Now, there are theories that they’re making too big of a deal about him not coming back all of a sudden, but if that were the case, that’d probably mean he’s A.D. so. 

Either way, the story right now is that legally, he was not able to come back :/

Spencer Twin or Spencer Imposter?

Honestly, I’m not big on the “Twincer” theories, but something caught my attention recently. I remember awhile back when the first picture showing two “Spencers” surfaced, but I brushed it off thinking it was something that could have been photoshopped even. Then in episode 7x18 (pic 2), Spencer wore a shirt that stood out to me like something I’ve seen Aria where alot that also reminds me of Twin Peaks and the “red room”. (I wrote a theory about this some time ago….read here: https://mylittleliarstheories.tumblr.com/post/157320171002/pretty-little-liars-and-twin-peaks-ezra.) Well, if you look closely again at the first pic, the “Twincer” is wearing a skirt with the same pattern! I haven’t actually watched the Twin Peaks series so I’m not exactly sure how Aria has been tying into this, but she does have a dynamic with Spence and wears clothing like this A LOT.

It is clear though at this point that there will be:

1. A Spencer twin 2. Someone pretending to be Spencer.
