Lauren: Fine. I'm not giving you a peice of my steak.
Lauren: I'd only ever be anxious if I know you'll be watching me in the crowd.
Lauren: Like not all us were blessed with your beauty, brains, sass, Cuban ass and Jesus, don't get me started with your voice. How do you do that? Take complementing me to a whole new level. Does watching me on stage get you all hot and bothered?
Lauren: Well, you remind me of Esmeralda just because she's hot and well, you're hot so #LOGIC101. Stop being charming. We're already friends, no need to try and get into my pants.
Lauren: It'll always be fun since you're there. I just wanna make sure because someone told me that you didn't feel like coming.
Lauren: "I can't resist coming" My mind when there immediately.
Lauren: I just wanna spend time as much as I can since after this week. My European tour starts and I don't know when I'll be able to see you again. Maybe I can drop by in one of your shoots.
Lauren: I mean, if you're okay with it.
Camila: let's just say it was really, really hard for me to keep my hands off of you in that dressing room

Camila: you could totally do that. maybe even sooner than you planned? i don't think it'd be a huge deal if you sat in during the shoot with vogue i have coming up, it's just going to be an entire day's work

Lauren: You didn't seem nervous. It was a 10 year old girl, Camila. Don't be ridiculous. It takes a lot in me not to puke on stage, so far so good. We could always do a collab. 🤗
Lauren: Sleep is an amazing thing I don't get enough off, sadly.
Lauren: You can me lame yet all you want to do is order Pizza in an old church where an ugky hunchback lived. But you had me at Pizza.
Lauren: Not to be a downer but how long will you be in Paris? Uhm, you're still my plus one at the VMA's right? I know it's just the VMA and I totally get if you don't wanna come. It's boring and shit so I was just wondering..
Camila: maybe. again, i'm not telling you
Camila: so if you were randomly thrown onto the balmain aw16 catwalk or featured in marc jacobs' collection at nyfw you'd be totally comfortable with it? not anxious at all?
Camila: not all of us were blessed your stage presence. which speaking of, i didn't think it was possible for you to get any sexier than how you look up close and in person but seeing you on stage tonight definitely proved me wrong
Camila: wow tell me how you really feel about the notre dame, lauren. i just happen to love french gothic architecture. especially when a beautiful girl is with me
Camila: four nights and five days, i'm booked the entire trip but you'd know first hand how i can't resist coming

Lauren: You're making me want to skip dinner and just dash. Its not a naked hooker that looks exactly like you, is it? I mean, I won't mind but you've actually got me curious.

Lauren: You didn't have to do all that, you know? 🙈🙈 But it was definitely worth being able to hear you sing. Have I mentioned how much I love your voice?
Lauren: No, of course not! I actually cleared my whole schedule when you said you wanted to hang. I was just going to sleep all day if you decided to change your mind.
Camila: you're so far off it's hilarious. a hooker isn't a bad idea though, i'll see what i can do next time

Camila: absolutely. lauren i cancelled a shoot and flew all the way to miami just to see you tonight of course i want to hang out with you

Lauren: Darn. I was really hoping for a naked cutout of you. Why the rush to get me back? You sure you're not waiting for me there?
Lauren: Just wrapping up. Heading out for some dinner. Is it too early to say I miss you?

Camila: as much as i wish i was spending the night with you in bed, i'm positive. although you might just like your surprise even better than my body ;)
Camila: a little bit. but i miss you too

[Used to being the center of attention, Lauren was more than happy to just blend in the background and harmonize with Camila, letting her voice shine through. It was terrifying how perfect the younger Latina was in the Singer's eyes. She couldn't find an inch of flaw in her and the was giving her chills as she sang along. "I wont let go of you.." Their warm gaze met as they both sang those words, it was almost as if Lauren could feel those words directly being said to her. As soon as her voice subsided Lauren felt a huge lump in her throat. She never felt this strongly over someone she had only known for a short about of time. Her eyes locked with Camila as she joined in the little girl's praises, forgetting she was still even in the room getting lost in her own little world. "You're amazing," Lauren blurted out with no hesitation, her gaze falling down to Camila's lips simultaneously licking her own. A knock on the door disrupted her thoughts and her manager started walking out, pointing to his watch. She gave a short nod and faced the blonde supporter once again, making her stand in her own feet. "You said you love music right?" the singer had to chuckle as she furiously nodded. With this, she politely took the guitar and Camila's hand and stood up to grab a sharpie. She then placed her signature in the guitar and handed it over to her fan who was even a bit shorter than the guitar making her giggle. "Next time I see you, I want you to be playing a song for me, yeah?" She knelt down to be eye level with her, giving her another hug, melting into their embrace, "And maybe we'd sing a song together someday." After a few small talks, the girl's parents picked her up thanking a star and taking a few pictures. When the room was empty once again, Lauren swallowed nervously reminded where there conversation started before they were interrupted. Honestly, after hearing the girl sing, ever cell of hatred in her system left. She didn't want to fight no more, she didn't even want to hook up if the younger Latina wouldn't be up for it anymore. She'll settle to be friends as long as she gets to have Camila in her life.]
[Camila found herself captivated in Lauren's gaze, as if every time both pairs met, everything else around her had stopped for a moment in time. With her compliment, she confidently shrugged both shoulders as if singing wasn't something completely out of her comfort zone. "That was nothing compared to your voice," Camila began to say before a sudden knock on the door cut her off, the man directing Lauren to wrap things up with the fan in a nonverbal manner. As the artist was preoccupied with goodbyes, Camila pulled out her phone to check on the time, her flight to Europe leaving them with just a few limited hours together. It wasn't until the room decreased in noise that she noticed they were on the verge of being alone together again, the Latina shoving her phone back into her jacket pocket before forcing a polite wave to the duo, a short duration of quietness falling between both girls until she furrowed her brows to continue their previous conversation. "Yeah...about what you said before," Camila's focus remained on her lap as her voice filled the room. "You don't have to apologize for anything Lauren, especially when a lot of it was my fault. I shouldn't have said those things to you." Camila tried not to get lost in thought, everything she'd been refraining from admitting almost forcing her to ramble. "If I considered you just a hookup I wouldn't have made the effort to be here."]

[ The flutter in her heart was evident when Camila's eccentric voice echoed the four walls of her empty room. Hearing her in a soothing and passionate voice, with her perfect little runs and how unique they all were mashed together. It was hard to grasp that the intensity of that voice was coming from such a small figure. If perfection had two legs and a beating heart, it would look exactly like Camila right this very moment. Was it possible to have your breath taken away simply by the sound of someone's voice? Because it felt exactly like that as each lyrics left the model's lips while she was playing with the guitar simultaneously. Lauren's eyes carried so much adoration just watching and listening to her that she almost forgot her queue to join along. It was only when the little girl on her lap looked at her, and basically nudged her to shake her out from her daze. Though the lyrics pierced into Lauren's soul, she cleared her throat rather insecurely, not sure if her voice could match the same as Camila's. "I feel we're close enough.. I wanna lock in your love.. I think we’re close enough..Could I lock in your love, baby?-" There was a pause as green met brown and in the moment, Lauren knew, Camila had broken down the last walls that guarded a part of her cold heart that she didn't even know ever existed as she waited for Camila to join in the chorus with her.]
[It always amazed Camila how the other girl's voice suited every song she sang, from original music to short tunes she'd make up on the spot, her raspy voice was something she'd never grow tired of; singing was something that came naturally to her and it left the brunette jealous. Joining in on the final chorus, this time Camila didn't hold herself back, lyrics flowing out of her like they were her own written thoughts and feelings. "Now I've got you in my space, I won't let go of you." Camila's attention focused back to the instrument in her hands, she knew the song well through self teaching but it surprised her how far she had gotten through without any mistakes. "Got you shackled in my embrace...I'm latching on....to you." She finished off the song with a few extra strums of the guitar before soft claps and cheers from the small fan filled the room. Though it wasn't something she'd probably do again, she was thankful for Lauren's strict convincing, Camila running a hand through her hair as soon as it left the guitar body.]

[The singer knew that no one with a heart could ever refuse the little girl's request, especially singing how excited she looked at the prospect of hearing both girls sing for her. "Told you she'd give in," Lauren said shaking her girl lightly in her lap before placing a chaste kiss on the little girl's cheeks, unable to resist how adorable her fan was. Too engross with the child in hand, Lauren was unable to notice the exchange Camila had with her manager also, added the fact that her attention was straightly focused on admiring the model, a bomb could explode and she wouldn't even notice. She handed the guitar almost too eagerly when the model asked for her. She had never see the younger Latina play any instrument before so this was also a first time for her. After the first few notes, Lauren already knew what song Camila had chosen and her lips curved up into a small smile. She gave a light nod signaling Camila to start as she placed her head on top of the little child's shoulder as she waited for the girl sitting opposite to her.]
[Camila's gaze fell down to the guitar as soon as Lauren motioned for her to start, visualizing she was all alone and not in a room where all eyes were on her. Hiking her knee up slightly so the position of instrument was easier to play, she smoothly transitioned from the repeated intro to the following verse. "You lift my heart up when the rest of me is down....You, you enchant me even when you're not around..." Camila's voice filled the room almost effortlessly, the girl hoping her nerves weren't as noticeable to the others as they sounded. "If there are boundaries, I will try to knock them down, I’m latching on, babe, now I know what I have found," Camila turned in Lauren's direction for her cue, wanting her to join in for the chorus before taking the next verse. The fan on her lap swayed to the tempo of the song she was playing and she took it as her own sign of approval, the reaction of the little one causing her to let out a light laugh.]

[ The artist was confident having heard Camila sing more than once before so she wouldn't take no for an answer. It's also a perfect excuse to hear the model's beautiful rustic voice again. "Of course you can," Lauren quickly interjected though her features made her want to take it back since she didn't want to pressure the younger latina in doing something she wasn't comfortable with. But before Lauren could take the bullet, the littlest one made another suggestion. "How about you both sing!" She squealed animately, clasping both hands and looking at both girls expectedly. The performer turned her head to the side, tilting her head ever so lightly. "What do you think?" She asked with a little hesitation, her fingers nervously fidgeting at the strings of her guitar. She couldn't explain why whenever she's under Camila's presence, she feels tense and a little apprehensive, afraid that she might do or say something that might agitated the younger Latina.]
[It'd normally take Camila a lot more convincing, but glancing down at the little girl in Lauren's lap, it was hard to turn down someone with so much excitement in her eyes. "Sure, I guess." She agreed, her eyes meeting the manager's who evidently looked unimpressed at the situation. She ignored it though, figuring entertaining the young child might earn her some credit, but ultimately she was doing it for Lauren. "Could I?" Camila motioned to the guitar in the other girl's hands, and once it was passed in her direction, she positioned it so her fingers could smoothly run over the fretboard. She began to play the first set of tabs that came to mind, cycling through them a few times so Lauren could catch on to the song she chose. "I learned this a few years ago. It's kind of an old song but I could relate to it at the time." Camila began to explain, continuing to strum as she spoke to no one in particular. Truthfully, she still did, dedicating the song to Lauren without a needed announcement.]
