Went to see Alice through the looking glass in 3d the other week and it was great, better than the first in my opinion!
This makes me think that I was back down the rabbit hole in London. I love it.
We wouldn't want to forget about 'A Game of Thrones' so here's Arya Stark to remind us!
There are nights when the wolves are silent and only the moon howls. - George Carlin
Everybody knows you should stay on the path!
May the spirit of the wolf watch over you and keep you safe.“ - Author: Shirley Bishop
Beware the savage beast! I liked the following quote and I thought it tied in with my pictures Wolves and women are relational by nature, inquiring, possessed of great endurance and strength. They are deeply intuitive, intensely concerned with their young, their mate and their pack. Yet both have been hounded, harassed and falsely imputed to be devouring and devious, overly aggressive, of less value than those who are their detractors. - Clarissa Pinkola Estes

I used to have s picture like this on my bedroom wall. I love the way wolves look.
I love this.
Returning.
The forenoon is burn-faced and wandering And I am the death of the moon. Below my countenance the bell of the night has broken And I am the new divine wolf. - Adonis (Ali Ahmad Said Esber), 'The Divine Wolf. I don't know why but this sends shivers up my spine.
Beowulf - Return to the Shieldlands. I'm gutted. I can't believe they're not making a second series. We missed it when it was on TV but we found the box set one night when we were bored and ended up watching the entire series in a few days. It was brilliant fun. OK the acting wasn't always the best, but the scenery was brilliant and it was never boring. It was left on a really good cliff hanger and everything. I'm going to bed to cry myself to sleep!
Game of Thrones. I feel like I just started watching it and it was finished It was great fun and never a dull moment. Dame Di as the Duchess is a real scene stealer. Quite magnificent, and it certainly left us on the edge of our seat dying for more. With regards the next series though I am a bit confused. I mean the whole thing was based on George Martin’s books. Indeed the first series was almost word perfect. I’m sure I’m not alone in wandering what happens now. We have definitely ran out of book and the esteemed author seems to be procrastinating about even finishing the book that would take us up to date. I feel a bit cheated. I read all the books avidly and recommended them to other people just to have them abruptly stop because the author has something more lucrative to do. I love the TV series but I loved the books first and feel very let down. That said, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t eagerly awaiting the next series.

Romanticism
*trigger warning*
Somewhere out there a girl is suicidal
but no one takes her seriously
because you and your friends treat suicide like a joke
so her peers don’t think twice when she said Â
“I want to die tonight.”
And people call this glamorous?
Somewhere out there a kid is slitting their wrists
because they don’t know how to cope otherwise.
They battle themselves night after night.
You look at their wrist and think that they’re fine, Â
but what you don’t see are the carvings on their thighs.
And people call this glamorous?
Somewhere out there someone is starving themselves,
but no one will say anything Â
because they look pretty good, right?
But they’re in a constant state of imbalance and fatigue
just for a figure that everyone likes.
And people call this glamorous?
You read The Perks of Being a Wallflower
And now you think it’s cute to be awkward,
while somewhere out there a boy is too scared to leave his bedroom,
or to make eye contact with strangers,
or to answer the phone
and you think that it’s cool?
You think it’s cool  to feel nauseous at something as simple as a sidelong glance in the hallway?
and that depression is just a badge you get to iron on your jacket to show everyone.
Mental illnesses are posted on social media,
just so your friends can comment and say,
“You’re beautiful! Stay strong!”
Fuck that.
We’ve glorified sickness to the point where it no longer has any significance.
And if you are so desperate to feel interesting
that you want to question the sick
just to make friends
Then let me tell you something:
Interesting is fluency in nine different languages.
Interesting is a poem that hasn’t been written yet.
Interesting is a leaf and all of it’s veins overlapping and intertwining.
Interesting is to care about people,
and it is interesting to be kind.
But if you’re so dull you think sticking a label of sickness on yourself will make you cool
maybe you should shut off your computer
leave your bedroom
and go learn something real.
Somewhere out there are people who really need help
and they struggle to be heard
over the millions of teenagers screaming
“Hear me! Hear me! Hear me!”
Shut it down.
Realize that you are lucky to be healthy.
Stop the romanticism. Â
You aren’t helping anybody.
Learn the difference now
between sadness and depression,
between skinny and an eating disorder,
between a awkwardness and social anxiety.
So stop covering yourself in theses stickers of illness you aren’t plagued with Â
Your self diagnosis does nothing for anybody.
So screw you
and your self diagnosis Â
It’s wrong
and it needs to stop.

My first thoughts were that I was not blown away by your poem. Then I read it again and thought no, I’ve made a mistake this is a well thought out work and makes very valid points. I think its disgusting, all these young people making out they’re so damaged when all that’s wrong with them is that their minds and bodies are adapting to growing up. Meanwhile the people who really suffer from these frightening illnesses go unnoticed and unassisted. They might cut their wrists in the heat of the moment, but the serious harm will be somewhere unseen to the outside world until it is too late. It’s not a cry for help it’s a release if pain and because it’s a painkiller it’s addictive and like most addictions it’s deadly. These people who smother the social media with their “Poor me. Poor me.”, stories. Blind everyone to the existence of the hurt and broken outcasts curled up in their corners. They would never dream of posting tales of their troubles for everyone to read - they would be far to ashamed and embarrassed, and anyway they wouldn’t think for a minute that anyone would be interested unless it was to laugh. I don’t mean to pry but are you someone who’s had to deal with difficult problems or are you close to someone who is. You seem passionate about the subject and making the point accessible by putting it in poem form was very inspired.
Love this tree. Don't know whether I want to hide from it or climb into it to hide and read my book.
