Okay but midnight sun made me love Emmett 1000x more.

The first moment he actually met Bella he was already counting her as part of the family and eager to include her. He even thought more about her safety than fighting James when getting Bella back to their house which says alot because he loves fighting.

The very best part was when they were in the car and he looked down at her all broken and felt concern and affection and decided that Rosalie was going to have to get over her aversion because she was a 'good kid'.

Emmetts kindness toward Bella and his pure intentions are so nice.

Emmett's most prized possession is a bonsai that Rosalie got him to help with the whole not breaking everything he touched thing, and he jokes about it being older than him (because Rosalie wanted to get the prettiest one for him, and it just happened to be 50 years old, and expensive as fuck)

He broke a few branches the 1st time he attempted to prune it, and sobbed (it was the nicest thing anyone had bought him at that point) while apologizing to Rosalie. She just rolled her eyes cause "it's a tree it'll grow back."
