And they really thought they ate with this ending like it’s so crazy…
Y’all literally Job’d the fuck out of us.
Notice how good omens finale stans keep defending human Aziracrow and the lack of a kiss
But never the 30 minute unskippable subplot of Brian, the monopoly gangster
I didn’t like it BUT it’s not as bad as it couldve been because after Aza offered the book half off and Anthony said “You have no idea how much it hurts me hearing you say that”
For one horrific moment I thought they were doing a reverse “Pray for, Icarus” and Crowley remembered everything but Aziraphale didn’t
And almost passed right then and there
I will admit I mainly didn’t like the finale because they didn’t kiss BUT I will argue that is a much bigger issue than what people are making it out to be
Something really fun about the twitter fandom they hold up book lore as completely canon to the show (for some reason) BUT they don’t actually bother reading the books
So instead what they do is take things other people have said about the books (the person may or may have not actually read the books), they extrapolate or hyperbolize the SHIT out of it coming up with complete non sequiturs scenarios in their heads
Then they not only like their act like their elaborate headcanons are canon in books (often they are not) and therefore they are totally going to happen in the show (even tho the show often doesn’t include real book material) or in the most dire cases they act it already did (it didn’t)
THEN they get mad at the stuff they made up in their heads and have discourse about it and bash the actual actors, writers, showrunners and people who actually know what happened in the books (for stuff that only happen in their imaginations btw)
I know this is just an evolution of the typical headcanon blindness but I don’t think I’ve ever seen something quite to this level, an ouroboros of delusion
I so desperately need know what Louis said immediately after the “uhhhhhh” because I honestly don’t know which is worse is the worst option but I know THATS the one he went with
“No, anyway about Montreal”
“Sounds vaguely familiar”
“How do YOU know Daniel Molloy?”
“… You have to promised you won’t be mad 🥺”
“Yeah, dirty liar and a cheat, drugs messed up his brain too. Why you ask?”
“Okay but don’t go all crazy psycho ex on me you french queen 🙄”
“I’m so glad I forgave you for Antoinette baby”
“Calm down okay?”
“So remember back in the 70s when I was going to kill myself but I didn’t and you were very happy about that? Well hold on to that feeling because-“

The photo from 1941 is so important to me (it'll be back in s3, its on my bingo card)
Hello! Been a bit inactive with posting art (I got my sister into Good Omens and spent a lot of my time sending her edits and theories lol). I feel that 1941 is such an important era in aziraphale and crowley's relationship and developing trust. I also just like this gorillaz song, hope you enjoy!
Character class prediction based on almost nothing but vibes Part 1
1. Teor, at first I was convinced it was a monk but looking at the armor and the shield I do wonder if he’s doing a sort of unarmed fighter or paladin build? I do think the claws will play a big part
2. Tyranny, this is very clearly screaming cleric from the rooftops… so I wonder if it’s going to be a bait and switch and she’s actually a warlock OR a surprise monk leaning more into a religious monk
3. Murray, would be shocked if she’s anything but a bard
4. Thaisha, almost definetively a Druid. I am the second most convinced about her
5. Sir Julian, the most convinced about him, human fighter and not even surprised. Being a forever dm and coming back with a human fighter is the classic move, bet you he is a battlemaster to (goading attack in the picture)
6. Leaning towards a swashbuckler rogue, maybe a valor/whispers bard? (Likely a homebrew subclass so they could be a paladin for all I know)
7. Vaelus, now THIS is the loudest cleric in party, which is saying something, don’t know what else she could be unless…. the mask, the one corrupted hand and the other holding a holy artifact… she might actually be a mercy monk that uses the incense holder as a weapon??? Unlikely but if she is she is automatically my favorite
8. Occtis, to me he screams artificer with those foxes (probably his homunculi). Although maybe an alchemist/reanimator based on those potions, needle and the anatomy book. Maybe a reflavor necromancer
9. Kattigan, he might be a Beastmaster Ranger but I simply cannot be sure /s (watch him be a battlesmith reflavor or a homebrew barbarian lol)
10. Halandil, at first I thought he might be a cleric in hiding but the other characters seemed to be surrounded my religious imagery like it doesn’t matter so… maybe cleric of a particularly infamous being? Otherwise I think a warlock in disguise (maybe sorcerer), either way I think the hand he has in his pocket is corrupted with magic
Part 2
11. Azune, the electric gloves are throwing me off but… I think an eldritch knight? Rune fighter? Melee ranger?
12. Wiccander, that clearly is a religious symbol… but I also wonder if he some kind of religious sorcerer? Maybe divine soul? Even a religious warlock? Idk cleric is the obvious one but I’m not convinced
13. Thimble, roguiest rogue I’ve seen, maybe swashbuckler but the fairy theme is telling me trickster.

I’m actually not that surprise about Matt not being the DM anymore, kinda saw it coming. 10+ years of running weekly dnd at that scale is a lot, and he probably needed the break
Brennan being the DM is also unsurprising but Im not sure how I feel about it, his format of dming is not super compatible with the format of critical role but Im willing to be proven wrong
Not setting the campaign in Exandria does seem like a monumentally bad idea. I think it’s narratively a waste seeing how campaign 3 ended and how invested the audience is with this setting
The prospect of losing some of the original cast members is actually devastating and I’m not sure the show can come back from that. Maybe if only 1 was retiring but more? That’s actually crushing
Overall I can accept each of the changes in a vacumm, but all together for next campaign? That might be too much
Currently thinking about her.
I don’t have huge stakes on the “Armand is Alice” discourse but WHY does everyone that argue against it bring out Daniel’s daughters as evidence
Daniel was married twice, he could’ve had his daughters in his second marriage. It was never stated that Alice is definitely the mother of one of them
Why does everyone think Armand had to give birth for this theory to work?
alice is mentioned to have been pregnant at one point. also daniel talks about having a toddler before seatbelts were mandatory so he probably had at least one child by the late 70s.
Okay THANK YOU, I actively looked for a mention of Alice having children in the wiki/reddit and couldn’t find it, multiple people also told me that it was never specified
I genuinely thought I was I going crazy or everyone else was
