๐น; So I have this head-canon for Sam, that even during the earliest days of his boy-king era, heโd have these dreams within his visions. Theyโd show glimpses of Lucifer, a whisper, a certain smell or location. At first Sam makes no sense of them, but through time, involving the demon!blood etc, he begins to form this puzzle in his mind.
He begins to ask this presence questions, hesitantly, and he can never see the true form as itโs cloaked. But the voice, the voice is something that Carrieโs through and embeds itself deep into Samโs mind. Almost like a siren, calling to him.
By the time Sam meets Lucifer for the first time, he feels an overwhelming sense of relief, though he should be terrified. But the presence of the deity in front of him is almost too much or bare, knowing for several dreams now he was imitating Jess. Everything within those dreams was Lucifer, the soft touches, the confessions, the sweet conversations.
The Winchester becomes emotional during their first face-to-face meeting as he repeatedly tells Lucifer no, despite this being the first time heโs wanted to scream yes. Because itโs Lucifer, and he couldnโt possibly feel this way, heโs the devil.
But when he wakes, heโs trembling and numb, because he felt like he just lost a part of himself heโs been trying to find for years.
Anyways uh, Iโd love to write this with someone who writes Lucifer. But was too shy to go public with it so, if youโre interested. Let me know and Iโll shyly come and introduce myself properly.
i really like what you've got here, but I am probably one of the few Lucifers (if not the only one) on this hellsite that avidly DOES NOT ship Sam and Luci - sorry about that!!
