Not my normal post, but please spread this around!! I live fairly close to the fires and I know that is bad and how frightened they are! I lost my house in a fire once and the experience was traumatic. So if you, or someone you know lives in the area of the Paradise, or Malibu fires, please do this or share it if you don’t!
Consider leaving out water for passerbys. It won’t make them stay (the urge to find new territory away from humans is v. strong), but it will help fuel them onward.
If domestic animals wander through, and they are eager to approach you, consider keeping them in your yard and contacting a shelter set up for animal evacuatees from these fires so their people can find them.
Brizo the Osprey would like to remind you to vote for Nature’s Educators to help supply her with fish! Osprey are almost exclusively fish eaters in the wild and can be found on every continent except Antarctica. Brizo was born with deformed collarbones and is unable to fly.

Was gifted this pronghorn this week. Ready to put him out in a boneyard and clean the skull up. Going to tan the cape skin I got off him too.
Got two more this year, one doe who's a bit shattered and a buck. Plus all the scapula. Beautiful animals.
A friend got them this weekend with hunting tags, and brought back some for me to process and preserve.
When you mass buy VC stuff to finish every project before winter.
(Click image for better quality) Here's the finished piece! I fell in love with and really loved working on this one, the creative process involved in it was very fluid and taught me a lot. To me, this piece symbolizes a rooted connection of energy from the universe to earth.
Medium: Ink and acrylic on a female cow skull.

I Need Some Help
https://www.gofundme.com/chronic-migraine-and-pots-support
Hello. I'm 19 and have chronic migraines and POTS. POTS is a disorder affecting the central nervous syndrome that can cause debilitating symptoms in people who were previously healthy, like I was. I was bedridden with the exception of nearly daily medical appointments for three of my teenage years. Actively working towards my recovery allowed me to graduate high school last Spring, but my conditions and pain are still serious and need constant care. I am still on the slow climb to recovery and getting my life back, or living with this better, and pursuing my passions in science and art as much as I can. However, despite improvements, I am still too sick to hold any kind of job along with the two classes I am trying to make it through, and am asking for any help you can give. Thank you! Please help me boost this.
