Dimension in beauty.
11/7/18
It is said there is no absolute truth. Ive heard it said, beauty is the only undeniable truth. We all see it. Beauty is a spectrum like a band of colors, as seen in a rainbow, produced by separation of the components of light by their different degrees of refraction according to wavelength. This spectrum can be used to classify in terms of its position on a scale between two extreme or opposite points.
Beauty exists in multiple dimensions. If we explore the 1-4 dimensional existence, we might extract traits of beauty that make it so amorphic yet readily identifiable and true.
1D
A line is one dimensional because all you need to describe it is one measurement. (i.e. The line is 5 meters long.) A span of time is also one dimensional, sucah as 45 minutes, etc.
2D
A flat shape would be two dimensional as you'd need two dimensions to describe it, such as the height and width. Also, if you think of plotting points on a graph, you need to know the x,y coordinates for the vertices.
3D
This would be a shape that needs three measurements to describe it. A cube is 3D because it has a height, width, and depth. In a simulated 3D world, each vertex that makes up 3D objects is a point in 3D space, represented by an x,y,z value.
4D
The universe we live in could be most accurately described with 4 measurements, and so is 4D. The fourth dimension is time. Objects in our universe occupy a certain location only for an instant. Even things on earth that appear to not move are actually moving extremely quickly. Our Earth is spinning plus orbiting the sun. That sun is orbiting the center of the galaxy. That galaxy, itself, is hurling through space. Objects are constantly changing position over time.
Right away I am starting to pull together information that the perception of beauty can be as deep as we are able to explore dimensionality. Beauty can be defined to a single point or bar/level to exist with. Beauty is somewhat of a contradiction because while it may exist on a spectrum and not limited to a single place, the purest instance for the beauty we seek might come to rest in our own visions of dimensionality which does.
Beauty is a complexity made up of multiple dimensions. The visual dimension is the most easily noticed, but have you ever noticed a beautiful person doing ugly things? This is where the beauty of personality and being shift dimension. Ultimately the trait of beauty comes with multiple facets that are necessary to bring about all dimensions of beauty. Beauty is brave. Beauty has the audacity to be whatever it wants to be. Ever notice how a beautiful person is bold with the decisions they make? Does confidence play a role in their ability to decide what they want? Confidence requires strength. Have we noticed the kind of beauty that changes its look, but only seems to improve? Where does a trait like that come from? Is that a trait within a person? What makes that person beautiful? I think the degrees of this kind of beauty are different from person to person, so the deeper we are able to look the truer we are able to perceive. How many weeds are we able to pull out in order to discover the gold?
Because of this, beauty also requires patience. Most of us want beauty to last. Lasting could be compared with endurance. Which requires patience. Patience self, maybe others, to allow transformation through awkward and often painful growth that occurs through \]destruction.
Do we really need to travel the earth to find beauty? Or is relative beauty around us ALL the time? Are we failing to see that beauty in exchange for something else? What are we exchanging when we look for beauty elsewhere? Are we taking away our own ability to see the beauty in the present?
Today I am going to focus on beauty. I will work on a series of skulls, which is a structure of beauty. Beauty lies beneath the surface. Maybe this is where the discussion starts. I think beauty is the most valuable trait because of what characteristics true beauty embodies. “True” or truth is impossible to define since there is no absolute. Beauty however has been said to be the only absolute. It is something we all perceive. Beauty can’t be denied. I am going to spend this month exploring the dimensionality of beauty, diving into the attributes that make beauty so amorphic and still definite.
Today I concentrate on structure. The bones that give structure and function to our beauty.
I will explore the dimensions of consciousness that make beauty both delicate and heavenly. I will explore the way we perceive and how it can shape the beauty we see. I do not claim or aim to define beauty, I do seek to broaden the horizon for which we perceive the trait. I have a feeling that if the world saw more beauty in difference, we might come together easier.
There is a quality to beauty that I have found to be quite particular to my desire. That desire moves me into action. This desire isn’t anything I wish to posses. I exist for such desire.

Beauty lacks awareness. It is totally unaware of anything more desirable.
