In building, Ornamentals which are known Turkish Rococo had been used by workers. Dolmabahce Palace has got three floors , 285 rooms and 45 big parlors.

Topkapi is one of the most important palace.

Istanbul is one of the oldest cities in the World. So this great city of Turkey has got many historical structure. These wonderful buildings are made by the most important Turkish architects. One of these buildings is Topkapi Palace that is known by all World. Many Turk and foreign tourists visit to here everyday. Ottoman Sultans had usually lived here. So Topkapi Palace is very important for history of Turkey.

Fatih Sultan Mehmet who conquered Istanbul had started construction of Topkapi Palace in 1465. The construction is finished by Alauddin and Davud Aga in 1478. These  architects was only the two of the biggest architects in Turkey. This wonderful palace had been a center administration of Ottaman Empire for 380 years. Many important historical things are on display on museums of Topkapi Palace. This palace joined into UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1985.

Can you want to know some informations about structure of Topkapi Palace? The palace is located in Cankurtaran part of Fatih district and it is near sea. Area of Topkapi Palace is 80.000 m². But that was located on 700.000 m² in old time. Bab-i Humayun, Avlu, Saray-i Humayun and Internal Palace are the most important parts of Topkapi Palace. Because four seasons are lived in this country. So Turkey has got many vegetations which allow to grow a lot of fruits. Tropical fruits also grow except of known fruits.

We want to give you some informations about grown fruits in Turkey. There is usually very hot weather in south of Turkey. So tropical fruits are usually grown here. But there usually are cold weather in north of Turkey. So known fruits are grown here, inner Anatolia region, eastern region and western region. Those fruits are grown in Turkey…

Drupe: Plum, peaches, apricot, cherry, cherry, laurel, cranberries, sea buckthorn, rosehip.

Pome Fruits: Apple, pears, quince, unnap, hawthorn, arbutus, medlar.

How is marriage in Turkish Culture?

In Turkey marriages are made as Turkish culture. Actually, marriages are made as cultures of countries in everywhere of World. Turkey has got many different cultures. So many people get married as own cultures of region. But, somethings don’t change in marriages. Changing things in cities are only making culture activities. Marriage rules are same in every city of Turkey. These are henna night and wedding ceremonies.

Henna night are made differently from other countries in Turkey. What is the Turkish henna night? This is a special day for brides. This day is made one day ago before wedding ceremony. Brides get ready specialy for this day. They wear a special dress about own region culture. Fun songs are sung by other women and they sing sad songs with bride towards the end of henna night. One man only join to ceremony as men. He is groom. Finally, groom and bride’s hands are spreaded henna.

After henna night, preparations start for wedding ceremony. Grooms usually wear grey or black suit and brides wear white wedding dress as every country of World. Before wedding ceremony, grooms and brides take many photos with together. A car is decorated by families for this day and groom and bride ride to this car.

Many people usually dance with fun songs. Guests attach jewelery to groom and bride for wedding gift. After ceremony, groom and bride go to their home for nuptial night.

What Are The National Festivals Of Turkey.

Turkey has got some national festivals as in many countries. Many ceremonies are made by authorities for these festivals in each cities of Turkey. These activities are made regularly every year. All of these festivals are made about vested victories of Turkey and new beginnings of Turkey. There are four national festival in Turkey.

23 April National Sovereignty and Children Festival: Turkey Grand National Assembly had been opened in 23 April 1920 by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who is the biggest ancestor of Turks. Ataturk has given the important day as a gift to children. Many children are invited to Turkey from other countries in this day.

19 May Remember to Atatürk, Youth and Sport Festival: In 19 May 1919, Ataturk had gone to Samsun where is city of Turkey for starting the war of independence. So this day is a big day for Turks and is celebrated for youth people. Because,  Ataturk has given this big day to youth.

30 August Victory Festival: The big war has started with Greeks on 26 August 1922 and had finished on 30 August. So this day is a big day for Turks. Ataturk has given this victory to Turkish army as a gift. Turkish army celebrate the day every year.

29 October Republic Festival: Republic has been declared in Turkey, on 29 October 1923. Country management has been changed as Republic management. So this day is celebrated for people.

We will guide you about a beautiful cave in today. There are some caves in blacksea region of Turkey. One of them is Inagzi Cave where is located in Zonguldak. This city is famous with coal mines. There are many coal mines in Zonguldak. There is also a cave in here. We will share some informations and some photos about Inagzi Cave in this topic.

Inagzi is located in center of Zonguldak and is located from 15 km of Kilimli way. This way is near corner of Blacksea. Transport to here is very easily. So when many tourist came to Zonguldak, they visit to Inagzi Cave. Lenght of the cave is 800 meters and you can enter to cave from a fossil door. You will encounter with a hole that is enough to fit in a human, after 50 meters of cave, Afterwards you will see a way to the creek. This stream continue until 400 meters of cave.

There are a siphon in 400 meters of cave. When water withdrawed, people can pass to walk from way. Formation of Inagzi cave had completed in Prehistoric Ages. You can look the photos of Inagzi Cave which are shared by us, and you will see a mysterious cave. We can also think that is a historical cave. Anitkabir is the most important monument for Turks.

There are many monuments about Turkish ancestors in Turkey. But, everybody know that, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is the most important ancestor for Turks. Because, he established Turkey Republic in 1923. So he is always the most valuable ancestor for Turks. He made many good things for Turkish people , Turkey Republic and Turkish Culture. For example; Revolutions which have been made by Ataturk are very important for future of Turkey.

He died in 1938, in Dolmabahce Palace where is in İstanbul. Turkish authorized persons should have a monument for him, after he had made many good things for Turkey. Afterwards a building contest was held about monument and two Turkish architects have selected by authorized persons. The submitted Turkish projects had been liked by many people, before did not begin the building of monument. Afterwards project began in Ankara where is metropolitan of Turkey. Everybody thought same idea. This mausoleum should built in Ankara.

This wonderful monument was finished by architects and experts in 1953. The most strong concrete was used for building. Authorities had taken a lot of measures for building. Anitkabir is always visited by Turks. Many foreign tourists also visit to Anitkabir where is always open for people. When you came to Ankara for travelling, you can see and can visit to Anitkabir where is Mustafa Kemal Ataturk’s mausoleum. Many regional foods and other things which are belong to Izmit are famous in Turkey and in the World. But the most importants famous things of Izmit are industries and pismaniye. We will explain pismaniye you in this post. How to make it and what are the ingredients of it? Before we do not pismaniye, we want to tell that, other name of pismaniye is wire halvah and it is also very old sweet.

Pismaniye is indispensable sweet of regional festivities in Kocaeli. It was made firstly by Hayri Usta who had lived in Kandira. Kandira is a big district in Koaceli. Pismaniye is made with margarine, vanilla, cocoa, lemon salt, sugar, flour and water. After the sugar was melted in a cooker as a wax, it will be made as a ring. You will roast the flour and will be melted margarine. Next, you will mix them in a tray and you will take the rign wax that has been prepared. Later, you will mix the ring wax with flour and margarine mixture. The prepared wax will become as wire and you will continue to this process.
