Lupita Nyong’o on the red carpet of the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards
"Did you get to meet and speak to a lot of the people that you wanted to meet and speak to?"
Years ago, I watched a movie called I heart Huckabees and I was so in awe and floored by this completely uncharted humour and so I googled and I saw that it was the same director from Three Kings and Flirting With Disaster and Spanking the Monkey. And I just thought this is the most brilliant man in every single way and by some weird twist of fate that’s the same man who made my career what it is. It’s so weird and wonderful.

We had so many beautiful gorgeous things…
So go on, go home
We have unfinished business.
"That woman deserves her revenge and we deserve to die." - Kill Bill (Vol. I & II)

"Your identity is your most valuable possession. Protect it. And if anything goes wrong, use your powers." The Incredibles (2004)
"You know, in the old days, if a witch betrayed her coven, they would kill her." - The Craft (1996)
“It’s about a girl who gets turned into a swan and she needs love to break the spell, but her prince falls for the wrong girl so she kills herself.”
"I’m tired of seeing the same thing. Everybody’s so miserable here because they see the same things everyday, they wake up in the same bed, same houses, same depressing streetlights, one gas station, grass, it’s not even green, it’s brown. Everything is the same and everyone is just sad. I really don’t want to end up like them. I just want to get out of here. There’s more than just spring break. This is our chance to see something different.” - Spring Breakers (2012)
