"When is the last time you ate?"
"…ah…last night…"
Sayaka glanced at Kyouko briefly, before averting her eyes just as quickly at the comment she made last.
Did she really? Sayaka supposed so. It was hard to properly care for yourself when your father on occasion barred you from it, and eventually as a result causes a state of mind that can’t even conjure up an appetite.
But now in a calmer state of mind and given a chance to think about it, Sayaka was pretty hungry…”All right…if your folks really won’t mind.”
"Nah," the redhead quipped. "We look forward to visitors." Sayaka’s sudden reluctance to meet her gaze made her wonder if she had said something wrong. Maybe she’d ask later.
It was a while before she finally saw her house within her line of sight; Kyouko took the liberty to dash ahead and open the door. “It ain’t much, but make yourself at home.” She grinned, almost sheepishly. “I’ll tell my folks you’re here.”
