#id in alt #artfight 2025 #skyrim #oblivion #houseki no kuni #oc art #hnk oc #tes oc #art #original art #fanart #tes #hnk #land of the lustrous #ok i think that's my entire tagging system there good god #Anyway.#the resizing/cropping might be a little wonky but if it works it works #and refs especially with this height range are always a pain to post #that said. i'm so thrilled i did refs height accurate this year #because suleil made everyone else so much smaller in comparison that there was way less to actually line and color #it's almost enough for me to forgive her for being probably the most difficult one to draw to begin with #not quite enough but almost #in general her and codriel (guy in fur armor) have the least set in stone designs (Especially her)#so they were already more difficult. and suleil is heavy armor. so.#i don't. Particularly like her armor design here? but she needed something on her and if it works. it works #and i go back and forth on designs constantly. maybe i'll warm up to it. i like it more now than when i drew it anyway #also her eyes fuck me up. i think i might also change them somewhere down the line again but probably not a Ton?...#she's meant to have Sort Of the same sort of corneal opacity that people get when they die but i don't think it looks quite right #not helped by the red/black elf eye sclera. kind of kicking my ass but she's cute and i like her So #but i think i made it too light in comparison with the color i chose For the sclera

#id in alt #tes #oblivion #fanart #the benefit of reblogging things to a sideblog is i can continue my miscellaneous tag rants Anyway my computer's ram #again. i have 4. i lost 2 to ??? the whims of god #for reference. having One firefox tab open takes up to 1gb of memory alone #which like. whatever. i like to have firefox up when i draw because i like to grab references and liveblog the process to a captive audienc #via discord but it's not mandatory. i can pop in to grab refs then close it #and medibang is not a very memory heavy program at all actually because with all the layers on the psd version of this drawing #i think the highest it hit was just under 1 gb of ram #with. Realistically probably at least 50 layers. i should get better at remembering to delete things but i won't #on a 4000x4000 canvas which i Hope tumblr didn't shrink too bad i haven't checked #“oh well that doesn't sound too bad cupid” So i got krita recently #which is great. and by that i mean would be great. except i have barely been able to do anything outside of a few sketches because #this happened shortly after (as far as i can tell unrelated to krita though)#and krita is. compared to medibang. MUCHHH more resource heavy #like hitting 1gb of ram with 5 layers on a smaller canvas (for the whole program in task manager not the part in krita where it tells you #that specific drawings memory)#so now krita's like. in purgatory until i can get more ram into this dying lamb of a computer #like man i wanted to play with those brushes since medibang's got kind of a bleak selection but Ok. We'll put that on pause #the worst part is getting invited to roleplay on minecraft with my friend again and having to go Ahh sorry #my computer has elected to SHIT and DIE after i lovingly cared for it for like SEVEN YEARS #like i barely got to enjoy the last mc rp server i was on before the server economy got so bad that everyone i roleplayed with jumped ship #and now here i am. serverless. kritaless.
