i see you’ve stumbled across my blog! welcome!

here i post anything writing related, whether that be prompts or snip-bits of my work! please keep in mind i am not a professional writer, i do this as a hobby :)

before exploring my blog, i’d really appreciate it if you read some (more like a lot haha) basics on how i’d like this blog to run! :)

-- this is a writing blog! as of right now (03/05/2021) i do not have a set schedule as to how many prompts and/or drabbles or what not i will post here! as of right now i will just post whenever i feel like it

-- no hate here please! i don’t appreciate dealing with total jerks, and i doubt you wanna get on my bad side

-- do not steal any of my work! we don’t like thieves around here. if you wish to use one or more of my prompts, there will be directions on the post directing you in how you can correctly use a prompt of mine :)

-- as of right now, my request box is open! if you’d like me to jot down a couple au prompts or what not, feel free to ask! an example of an ask could be “have any royalty au prompts? :)”. at this time i am allowing anon asks, but that might bend to change if things get out of hand

-- all of my prompts will be found under the tag “d!prompts” as well as any other tag that flows along with the prompt(s)

KEEP IN MIND! this post will tend to be edited as time goes on and as this blog (i hope) expands! i will most likely make some sort of post explaining any potential changes so make sure you keep a lookout!

this blog is a huge WIP blog at the moment (as of 03/05/2021) and it would be awesome if this blog got as much love and appreciation like all the other wonderful writing blogs out there :) i hope to meet some great writing folks out there and hopefully my content will inspire your minds to get creative and dream big! :)

“Get them out of my sight,” Supervillain sneers as their henchmen drag a helpless Sidekick out of the room. “I want that weapon charged and ready for tomorrow. That’s when we strike.”

“But Supervillain, what about Villain? They aren’t going to be happy when they find out you’ve taken Sidekick.” One of their remaining henchman asks in a quiet voice.

“Villain isn’t my concern. What matters to me more is finally obtaining this city and getting one step closer to conquering the world.”

Just a message to all my fellow writers for 2022:

You're all doing amazing whether you write a lot or not, your mind is such a beautiful and equally horrifying place, the stories and characters inside it are so fucking interesting. We NEED you and your story, we need you because every story makes the world a little brighter. Please keep up the daydreaming, the scribbling in notebooks, the hours and hours of reading, the endless talks with yourself. Your fantasy is like not other, so don't even think about giving up. No story can give an unnamed feeling, an unspoken atmosphere like yours does, and as long there's just a thought of it in your mind, a slight spark of it, it lives somewhere, it waits for you. You will leave a mark here since you're creating, endlessly and effortlessly, passionately and even with all the beautiful doubts in your mind, you don't stop. It makes you human, and oh, all the pain and the love can be beautiful, you know that. Keep it up. Keep writing.

"Hurt people, hurt people, hero," the villain said, eyes drifting, "My story is one of millions, one pain in a sea of agony. People like to think us evil, that we were born this way, and that no humanity ever resided. But what if I told you the very society you fight for is what bred us to be in the first place?"

"That doesn't make it right," the hero replied, though there was uncertainty in their voice.

"Perhaps not," the villain replied, "but perhaps the city shouldn't sow what it cannot inevitably reap,"

Suddenly, their face seemed to soften slightly, "I pity you, hero, truly I do. You fight a worthless battle because you wage war on the products and not the machine that made us. A machine that will continue to run."

"I'm sorry you've been hurt villain, I am. But I believe there are two kinds of people in the world: the kind that goes through something horrible, and want others to feel their pain, and the ones that go through something awful and never want anyone else to suffer what they have," The hero argued, feeling more sure of themselves this time.

The villain smiled, softly. An expression that looked more learned from watching others than one born of genuine emotion. Still, it was strange to see it on their face.

"And I assume you think I, and others like me, fall in the first category?"

"Obviously," they replied.

"Hero I hate to tell you this, but *I'm* the one throwing a wrench in the very machine that made me. Not you. For that exact reason. I don't want anyone else to live through what I have,"

They took a step forward, levelling gazes with the hero, "Your job is to treat the symptoms, not the root illness. Cause and effect, hero. We are the effect, the consequence, not the other way around,"

"Lot's of people go through horrible things. Loads of them don't turn to villainy,"

"Your right," the villain agreed, nodding, "But enough do to make it more than coincidence."

“Comfortable, princess?” The bandit smiled underneath their mask, taking a seat in front of their hostage.

The baker squirmed their wrists, which were bound together with thick rope. They were starting to regret accepting the job offer of pretending to be a princess. “Oh yeah, I’m fantastic. Totally not pissed that I was kidnapped from my quarters during the night and forced to be quiet as I was shoved into the back of a wagon. Couldn’t be better!”

“If I may, A, I’d love to escort you inside. I even hear there’s punch. Punch! Whoever put together this party is truly amazing.”

A smiled sheepishly. They couldn’t believe B, the city’s most famous producer, wanted to escort them inside, let alone hearing them lightly talk to them. “It’d be an honor,”

“Please. Let me help you, [Hero].”

[Hero] scoffs coldly. “You? Help me? We both know you hate my guts, [Villain].”

“Tell me just how well your loyalty served you, little hero,” the villain said, the taunting edge finally gone from their voice. “Tell me why you thought they wouldn’t use that blind trust against you.”

The hero was quiet. In any other case, they would have called the villain a liar and fought with everything they had against those venomous words. But the scar on the villain, their supposed nemesis, was nearly identical to the wound slowly scabbing over on their arm.

And if it weren’t for [Villain], they would be bleeding out into the gutter without stitches.

I'm trying my best to avoid this turning into a long rambling emotional mess, but please know this literally means the world to me <3 The thought of even one person having a better day because of something I wrote, is mindboggling.

I wish I had something special to celebrate, but this literally happened too fast 😭It totally snuck up on me out of nowhere! I only hit 900 followers on the third of October, and 20 days later I'm at 1000! What even!? Where are you all coming from!? XD

He and his friends try their best to live a peaceful life, but when supernaturals start turning up dead, attracting the attention of the human police, Virgil is forced to try and help them solve the crime while keeping his, and the entire village's true nature a secret. If you enjoy my writing, you should definitely check this out! While the 70,000 words and 42 chapters may seem intimidating, each chapter is only about 1,500 words, which is the average length of one of my snippets, so it's easy to read little bits at a time.
