i think it’s really cute that you think i’ve never seen a magical girl anime when even years ago, when i made this post, my url was a pretty cure reference.

the point of this post wasn’t “magical girls that are powered by friendship and platonic love”, it’s just a magical girl that isn’t involved in romance. the vast majority of main characters in magical girl anime either have a MAJOR romantic plot, or have some sort of side plot where they get a crush on a boy or want to get married. sailor moon, tokyo mew mew, cardcaptor sakura, mermaid melody, princess tutu - all shows with an extremely heavy focus on the heroine falling in (romantic) love. there are shows that don’t focus on this, but what this post is asking for is one that explicitly has no interest in romance, but is still powered by the love for her friends and family and the world.

In that case, you could’ve just said so instead of putting a scene that we’ve all seen wether the heroine is aromantic or not.

“I think it’s cute” no need to be condescending if your post just put out there what we’ve all already seen, making me wonder what’s the difference between here being aromantic or not.

You could’ve used example such as taking another typical scene from magical girl and showing how it would’ve gone done if she was aromantic.

The scene you’ve done was just what you see wether she’s aromantic or not. Not need to get upset, I can’t read more than what you’ve wrote and I don’t need to read a full ont text about your knowledge of magical girl.

If you say so, I trust you, but you could’ve used a better example than this.
