I don’t know if it’s just me but I get uncomfortable when people are not okay with queer headcanons of their f/os.

This isn’t directed towards one specific person; I’ve seen several self shippers being disturbed by these headcanons(their f/o being bisexual/pansexual, transgender, etc.) or queer ships involving their f/o(s), while being completely okay with straight ships at the same time.

I know that everyone is free to make their own headcanons of their f/os or favorite characters and disagree with others’ headcanons of them. And it’s perfectly okay if people think of their f/os as cisgender and/or heterosexual. I just don’t understand why some of them get disgusted at just the thought of their f/os being queer.
