I am currently working on an essay on the relationship between Ben 10 and queerness, and I was looking to get different fan’s stories and experiences with how Ben 10 has affected their queer identity/etc. Responses are greatly appreciated!!

Ben 10 is definitely a show about identity, and while I’m unfortunately still closeted bi irl, Ben 10 really shows you can be whatever you want, the idea of being a whole other person or being really didn’t cross my mind until I rewatched the show later in life. Also really inspired me to embrace enjoying media from my past others would call childish.

Basically, it all (almost) the Omniverse characters that I did--I even added Pax and Kuphulu because Pax gets no respect at all in the show and Kuphulu is my favorite but yet underrated character that I love super much.

Also, I wanted to change Kuphulu's box from "aunt" to "uncle," but remembered that Thep Khufans are basically just genderless aliens that adapted usage of binary pronouns and I went like "y'know what? GNC Kuphulu :)"

Warlord, Galactic conqueror, most dangerous being in the galaxy.

Having conquered his own planet, Vilgax's hunger for power led him on a conquest campaign across the galaxy. The rumors of a new genetic weapon reached Vilgax, and he spent the next months chasing them. This pursuit led him to Galvan Prime, home of inventor Azmuth. Vilgax mounted a siege on the planet, demanding that the weapon was handed over to him. When he learned the device had left the planet, he pursued.

This led him to Earth's orbit, a planet he'd visited before, many years ago. After finding the ship carrying the Omnitrix, Vilgax almost had what he was after, if it hadn't been for a lucky shot coming from said ship. It hit Vilgax's ship bridge, and the resulting explosion almost killed him. With his life hanging by a thread and the Omnitrix now somewhere on the planet below, Vilgax's plan was put on a hold, but he would never give up.

In the next months, Vilgax sent drones and mercenaries, as well as earth villains, coerced by him, after whatever human was now in possession of the Omnitrix. Failure after failure only made Vilgax angrier, and with his body almost fully reconstructed, it was a matter of time until he took matters on his own hand.
