I love your killer klown pieces, especially the texture and vibrant colours. I'm assuming you make them digitally, how do you manage to get so much depth? I always struggle with that. Love the art ❤️

For the Klownz series, I was heavily inspired by Wildlife Explorer and Zoobooks. They were educational zines/pamphlets featuring incredible illustrations of animals.

As well as National Geographic (the black background, which I find to be a really appealing aesthetic, helps make the subjects pop out more)

And vhs horror covers from the 70s to the early 2000s.

A lot of them deploy pitch-black backgrounds and blur the lines between painting, photography and digital media.

Fun question. What Godzilla critter(s) do you like most? And I mean in general, you don’t have to get into specifics if you don’t want to. Second question, still kind of fun. If you could only redesign one Godzilla creature, which one would you choose? There’s no restrictions, like it has to be wearable or something. Anything goes!

Aw, for redesign, I choose Space Godzilla. I feel he's very underrated and there are so many potentially bizarre and beautiful directions to take him in.

I love outer-space alien kaiju so much (Monster X is one I would personally love to see more of).

Another fav of mine is Baragon (and by extension, Naronga and Gabora from Ultra Q).
