Many people work on python directly from terminal. It is good and fast, agree. Here is important pointer.

In case you are updating your python preferences (update alternatives) and you running a low configuration system. I tell you this, your linux system won't open app that fast and sometimes not at all. Few apps with low graphics need python 2.7 in case you're default python is 3.9. The app don't get the python version it need and viola you got system which doesn't open app but have them install. Weird?, nah!!!

Finally, a better OS setup for raspberry PI.

Take ubuntu server and install xfce4 desktop environment on it.

Command is

Sudo apt-get install xfce4

Once done, reboot, rerun the above command again. I recommend to select light-dm when the pop-up comes.

Speakers work fine

Audio problem need little tweak but works perfect

Don't need to be root for everything

The look can be improved as much as you want because, let's face it we are using xfce4 which have endless possibilities of customisation.

Yes, might need to work more with python to deal with GPIO pin. I don't use it anymore so it is sorted for me.🤭🤭

Hi Tumblr,

Gnome is heavy. Xfce4 is better for raspberry pi by far. It is building dependencies, so yes, it should be fine, I think. This will be Xbuntu.

10year back, I never thought that I would be up all night because of the programming bug. All I had was just an idea.

I think I will be able to use python's Android package. It will help me to keep track of few things. Specially GPS location.

I have been using termux from long time. I am sad now because I switched to Android 10 and now there are not just some issues, the entire app is not working properly. No solution what so ever.
