Okay, so there didn’t seem to be much to choose from, and spotting the one building that looked slightly promising, he lead them towards it as he explained.
“Specialty thing. I used to go with my boys in England, they had this really fancy sushi bar that hired only the fittest of babes to serve their food off of. Not everywhere has a place like that, I suppose. It’s sort of scandalous, don’t you think?” He smirked. He liked scandalous, but he wasn’t sure if it was for everyone.
Scandalous; what had that word meant again? He’d not heard it too often in conversation to be able to directly apply it, but now he could. The most scandalous thing that he’d known of had been when the closest lord’s daughter had gotten caught talking to a baker. Or maybe it was his hanging. He hadn’t exactly been around afterwards if his name was still on anyone’s mind as a large scandal. The gallows had a way of making that possible.
“It does sound scandalous,” he conceded, “but if the food is good, I don’t see much of a problem.”
