Not exactly charming.
The two walked among the castle grounds sitting at the heart of Corona. The redhead’s attire wasn’t the thick cotton she was accustomed to wearing back home, but rather of lighter material to accommodate the warm weather. She was a princess, and at her mother’s encouragement, she decided to spend time with other royalty.
“So..let me understan’ this, again,” Merida began, looking to Flynn walking beside her, “Yer not a prince?”
A princess with someone not of royalty? It was all a foreign concept to her. Until recently, most royal connections in her clan were woven through competitions between lords for a maiden’s hand. Flynn looked..rough around the edges, like her homeland, but compared to the pristine spires and lights of Corona he seemed..out of place.
