Recently I was chatting with a friend of mine and she mentioned she uses her dead social media as a souvenir of sorts, and I think it's a beautiful idea.

The Goblimm that used to be posting One Piece fanart just to get some attention and feel validated is long gone - nowadays I feel much happier drawing just for myself (and the few people who genuinely enjoy my art, you know who you are). And still, I'm still the same person, and I will continue posting here even if my posts do not gain any traction.

School is kinda beating my ass, meaning I don't draw as often as I would have like to, but I'm trying my best.

To be honest 2024 wasn't the best for me - the same goes for 2025, but I finally feel like I'm regaining myself. Quit one job, started the second one and quit it as well shortly after. Got into gaming, drawing got hard, artblock hit me hard and the lack of a working pc hit me harder.

But I'm finally back! This time for good I hope! Thank you for staying with my and thank you all who liked, reblogged and followed me in the meantime. It truly matters a lot to me.

If you're curious whether or not I'm going to continue posting One Piece content, I must say, it's very unlikely. I stopped keeping up with the series almost two years ago and quit the fandom altogether a couple of months later. I have a side blog where I planned to be posting OC content, but if I'm going to be honest, I don't think it's a good idea to be keeping fandom and personal art separate. So from now I'm going to be posting all of my finished drawings here.

And, yes, I want to continue making fanart! But it's not my main focus anymore, so expect it to be posted rather sparsely.
