Wand XXXIII - The Sheriff

Blackthorn, Unicorn Tail Hair, 11 1/2″, Unyielding

A firm, quick wand with a comfortable hand, good for the duelist and field worker. Versatile and practical, it is an easy wand to handle, but that requires use and action to bond to its owner.  Its wide, flat pommel allows it to stand on end.

Wand VII

Beech, Phoenix Feather, 12", Soft

Smooth crags and soft gray tones reflect the bark of the beech tree in this branch-like wand. A thicker wand, with a confident grip.

I decided to give this old wand a bit of a makeover. It now shows the beech tree’s warm, peach wood, retaining the green-gray color of its bark on the handle and where it has been chiseled away at the tip.

This wand is still On the Shelf.

An elegantly designed wand meant for a conductor’s grip. Fashionable yet sturdy in design with rich colors that unfortunately did not turn out in the pictures. Good for charms work.

This wand was made to fit a customer, but they never responded, so this wand is now ON THE SHELF, available for sale.

A curiously handled wand complemented by a raised spiral design going up the shaft.  Particular to its owner’s handling, and good for quick wandwork.

Sorry for the absence after making a post about a bunch of things I wanted to do around here. Between some personal issues and being sick, I haven’t been able to get around to this particular little pocket of the internet.  I’m here now though, with a special deal!

From now until November 2, all my pre-made wands will be on sale!  All wands tagged as “On the Shelf” here on my blog are only $9USD for the next 3 weeks!  If ordered before the 29th, I’ll do everything I can to make sure it gets to you before Halloween for costumes!

Oak, Phoenix Feather, 10 1/4″, Tough

A simple, stately design, but hardy enough for outdoor work with magical flora and fauna.  The name of the witch it was created for is carved in near the handle, and a purple stone is set on the pommel.

One of my favorite wands to date, made to suit a customer.  Practical, handsome, and powerful, with a woody texture to the handle.  I’ve been wanting to try this style for a while, and this customer was the perfect one to make it for.  I may have to make it a brother some time.
