“... They’re creeping up the legs on the deck, now. Where are the hedge clippers?”
Red Flowers?
“... I thought Todo was messing with me... Nothing’s grown in this yard since I moved here, why are there flowers now?
... And why are there so many?”
HOOMAN
Human Merlot!
She’s short. And chub. Soff gorl.
“Todo made the cake this year... So it should be AMAZING!”
Merlot: “Time to get this party on!”
(She’s writing invitations... )
{Snowbell}
Snowbell scratched her head. “I think the Kingdom is just called Mole Kingdom… But the Princess is named Momo. She has two brothers who run other Kingdoms, Jack and Sierra. I’ve never met him, myself but there’s a mage named Kura who’s… I’m not sure if I should call him famous or infamous. It’s a long story. He lives up on that mountain. I think his house is called the Obsidian Castle.”
She was thinking hard, trying to come up with anything from her world that might be hard to find anywhere else.
He gave several nods, and then opened his book once more. Inside the book, it sketched out what he imagined the place to look like.
“So, something like this, right?”
There of course were several things off that Snowy would be able to correct, but it wasn’t too bad considering what all he was given.
Snowbell looked over the sketch. It looked pretty close, although missing little details Silv had no way of knowing like the text on signs or unique features on a few of the buildings.
“Yes! This looks... really close. But there might be another problem. The three who were escorting me back home... They’re probably worried... I should probably find a way to contact them.”
She sighed. “Sorry, it’s just that they went out of their way to keep me out of danger when I got trapped in their world during the crisis... “
{Snowbell}
Snowbell wasn’t as seasoned when it came to multiversal travel as some of the other moles. But she had heard stories from them.
“Well… We have houses… and shops, and schools like most other universes. Except It’s all mostly a bunch of moles. At least where I’m from. There ARE other animal species, but we don’t have any big settlements of them close to the kingdom I’m from. We had one, but it’s gone now. I don’t know why.”
She pushed some of her bangs from her eyes. “There are big cities, but the place I live is more like a small town. I think I’ve covered anything important… “ Snowbell suddenly put her finger up in an “A-HA!” gesture. “OH! That’s right! There’s also a castle. And a mountain. Just in case the landmarks are any help.”
The lich mentally jotted down all of this information. He still didn’t feel like it was enough, so he closed his eyes, trying to envision what all she had described as he asked more questions.
“Do you know now any names of places? I feel like if I know names, I would be more accurate. Like, for example, the name of the town you are from. Surely you’d know that much, right?”
Snowbell scratched her head. “I think the Kingdom is just called Mole Kingdom... But the Princess is named Momo. She has two brothers who run other Kingdoms, Jack and Sierra. The girl shook her head as if to clear it.
“I’m sorry… I was actually on my way home from another place I wound up without meaning to. And I was there for a long time because something bad happened and they had to close the place off from all outside contact… “
Looking back up at him,she gave a small, rather tired smile. Again the bells in her hair rang softly as she did.
“I’m sorry… I never introduced myself. My name is Snowbell.”
“Snowbell, is it… I’m Silvester Sanguinaria, but you can simply call me Silvester.”
He went back to thinking over the current situation. If he was going to help, he needed info, at the very least.
“I need to know as much as I can about your own universe before I can even attempt sending you back. Aside from you being a part of a highly sapient mole species that can access magic, what all can you tell me?”

{???}
If it were even possible, the color drained from the albino mole’s face beneath her fur.
“You mean I… But it’s not… Is it? How did I universe-jump? I don’t think I have that power… It doesn’t seem like it would be related to any of my powers… “
She spoke in that way people have when they are shocked where they are talking to themselves as much as their audience.
The lich put his book back in its holder. He felt a bit concerned about this young mole girl… and truth be told, he wasn’t quite sure how to help. That didn’t stop him from at least offering to try, though.
“…I didn’t think I had the power either. In fact, I didn’t even know other worlds existed for the longest time. However, anomalies can happen… even to the best of us. I don’t know how much I can help you, but at the very least, I can try to lend a hand.”
The girl shook her head as if to clear it.

She almost took a step back out of instinct, but refrained, not wanting to be rude. “I’m a mole… “
Brushing a stray lock of her hair from her face, she continued. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t there moles in most other universes with humans?”
He blinked, trying to process what she just told him. He couldn’t help but be blunt with his thoughts.
“Moles do exist, but…”
He took his book out of the holder it was in, and opened it, facing it towards the white furry creature. On the pages, a picture of a mole sketched itself into view. A very different creature than the creature he was dealing with, with only very few similarities.
“This is what a mole looks like in this universe. Unfortunately, this means you are way more than just lost if you are speaking the truth about what you are.”
If it were even possible, the color drained from the albino mole’s face beneath her fur.

Continued from HERE.
For… whatever this mammal was, he had a feeling she was somewhat young. Which made her being lost like this a bit worse. He couldn’t help but feel a shred of pity, despite not even knowing her that well.
“…ah, is that so…? I can assure you I’m not here to harm you, little one.”
He put one knee on the ground, and leaned over the other to help the fluffy creature keep eye contact with him.
“May I ask what you are? You certainly nothing I’ve seen before…”
She almost took a step back out of instinct, but refrained, not wanting to be rude. “I’m a mole... “
Brushing a stray lock of her hair from her face, she continued. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t there moles in most other universes with humans?”
A small mole girl, white-furred and red-eyed, was wandering alone in unfamiliar territory. She had not meant to get separated from the others, but their plans had gone awry, and in the confusion, the girl had found herself completely lost. Coming upon the foreboding bone structure, she hesitated for a good while before cautiously knocking on the front door...
The door opened, revealing a horned humanoid who loomed quite a bit over the little furry creature. At first, he seemed a bit annoyed, though his expression softened as he looked at his company.
…well, this was not what was he was expecting to find at his doorstep. What was this creature, exactly? Something seemed off about her, adding to his long list of questions he figured he’d never actually get to ask.
Giving a small sigh, he spoke, trying to keep his voice at a more friendly and relaxed tone.
“…what brings a girl like you to a place like this?”
You would think the horns would have been off-putting. Not for her. She had recently spent a large amount of time in the company of the demons of her world during an incident she had accidentally gotten involved in which had left her unable to safely attempt going home for a length of time. What had her apprehensive was the height of this man. This was not helped by the girl’s own diminutive size, being small for ten years old.
“I... I think I’m lost... “
Her voice was rather soft and quiet. She looked up at the Lich, the movement of her head causing the glass bells in her hair to ring faintly. Attempting eye contact with such a difference in height was difficult.
“I was with others... something came after us, and we ran. I couldn’t see anything in the dark, and I think I went the wrong way... “
MEANWHILE, IN MERLOT’S KITCHEN...
Merlot: “... I SHOULD taste test it, hee hee... “
Later...
RK: “I can understand. I really can. But ALL of you, bar Chichi, have the common sense of seaweed. There were SO many ways things could have gone wrong for Todo, and for Merlot. I’m not gonna say a word to anyone else, but when Turnip gets out of jail, I want ALL of you to tell her yourselves. Understand?” Merlot: “Understood… “ Todo: “Yeah… “ Cammi: “… Uh huh.”

OUT THE WINDOW, MERLOT. OUT THE WINDOW.
Merlot: “I am NOT leaving Todo here to deal with this himself!”
RK: “... You do realize I can hear everything you and the Grey Moles say, right?”
Merlot: “... “
