“But of course I am, I know how hard it is to replace me.”
“Sweetie I wouldn’t even dare to consider it.”
“I don’t know I should feel about this statement, however, I do must agree that his drinks are perfect.”
“Oh now don’t get too jealous Ed, darling. You’re still my favourite.”
“One of the best things I’ve ever done is move into this building. Angelo at the bar is my new best friend.”
“I’m just getting something in an early lunch. I’ll probably eat again this evening before I head out. I’m thinking of getting all the girls together.-- Yourself?” Liz looked up quickly, briefly as she wiped away crumbs.
“Ahh I knew you couldn’t stay mad at me long.” Dione smiled, sitting up on a bar stool beside her. “Very good, just celebrated our four month with the boyfriend. How about you?”
“I wouldn’t be too flattered,” Liz rolled her eyes a little, taking another swig from her glass. “What’s his name?” She asked, more so for research purposes. “I’m in a bar drinking alone in a white leather jacket. I think that says enough about my current state. My boyfriend is god knows where and my Mother is moving to the other side of the country.”
“Ugh, I told you I was sorry I forgot your chocolates. I promise i’ll give it to you.”
"You’re lucky I like you enough to not hold this against you. How are you anyway, Di?”
“I’m not exactly the forgiving type, so you really should have planned what you were going to say here,” Potentially the both best and worst thing about Liz’s new building was the constantly open bar in the restaurant. “What do you want then? Get to it.”
“--- Right, I see I walked in at a bad time. I’ll go.”
“Alright alright.” He laughed as he shook his head, putting an arm around her shoulder, giving her a half hug as he kissed her head. “Thank God to that. How only one girl posses so many things to fill a whole apartment is still quite a mystery to me."The male watched her grab everything wondering how she could find everything in that mess. "Latte. May I offer my help?”
“I grew up in a place double this size an I’m also a girl who absolutely loves to shop. I have to clean out my wardrobe at least every few months to make room for new stuff. You don’t even understand,” In the kitchen, she busied away making the coffees. “I-- Think I’m good!” Liz called over. A few minutes later there drinks were done and she slid Ed’s across the counter to him. “Apologies if it tastes awful. I’m just getting used to the whole coffee machine thing.”
“Yes I know, I think that’s the third time you told me that.” The male mumbled as he put a box on the floor. Althought he sounded grumpy he was genuinely enjoying to help his friend, not the act of carrying boxes but seeing her happy. “Coffee, yes. And maybe a break?”
“I just want to make sure you know how much I appreciate it, okay?” Liz laughed gently. After folding some boxes down, she slid an arm around Ed’s waist and pointed out the room. “Come on then, coffee it is. The kitchen and bedroom are done now, so I think that deserves a break.” She turned and began to head out her room, through the lounge and into the kitchen. After growing up in Penthouses, it was comforting to have so much room again. “Latte? Mocha?” Grabbing different bits and pieces, Elizabeth began to make the drinks.
Liz kicked the suitcase under the bed and then turned with a smile on her face. “Thank you again for helping me move. I’ve not an actual clue where Hatter is at to be quite honest. I’ve still yet to tell him about the piano,” The blonde beamed. “I’m just excited to have a big place to myself again to be honest. What with my Mom moving to LA, I feel like I can spread my wings a little more.” She ran a hand through her hair as she looked around her bedroom one last time. “Do you want a tea or anything? Or coffee? I have a milk steamer and everything!”
“That doesn’t mean we can’t act a little silly!”
“I’d like to be able to come back without having to worry about hiding my face.”
“Oh would you stop,” Liz laughed. “We’re aactually in public. I have a name to uphold!”

“Okay so now that we’re all settled down, talk to me,” Liz beamed. As she grinned, picking up a cup of tea, there was a loud clunk causing her to jump. Setting the cup back down, she turned to look quickly. “Oh yeah-- Ignore those guys. They’re just bringing in the piano.” Liz rested back into her seat. “Speak. Continue.”
“Why? She has beady eyes and that Prada is from 2011.”
“At least it’s Prada! Maybe she just needs some coaching from someone as flawless as yourself.”
