Grace is a funny character since she doesn't act like a resident evil character. She acts completely normal in comparison to everyone else, especially like Leon. She is on the verge of a complete panic attack for the entire game. Even when there's no enemies around and shes just walking the halls she will occasionally groan to herself in fear.

Even Ethan had moments where he got somewhat jokey. Grace is essentially a Silent Hill Protagonist. She is just going through complete hell and is acting accordingly.
