The thing about MONARCH: Legacy of Monsters is that it tries really hard to adhere to the notion that it's deeply tragic and life-ruining to be in love with more than one person at once, but the message this ends up sending is something more like "polyamory could have saved this entire family and possibly the world".

I fucking love when people give in-universe reasons for omegaverse shenanigans being a relatively new phenomenon and not just a fact of life. And this is probably my favorite out of all of them. Insane choice, and I want to kiss the author sloppy style about it.
