my tips for twitter users migrating over

use the block button liberally

ignore rude anons instead of giving them attention

find your small circle of blogs to follow and stick to it, be diligent about pruning the list when you see stuff you don’t like on your dash

talk about streaming and voting and stuff if you want but be aware that if you’re aggressive about it people will probably ignore you lol

do not DO NOT! repost content creators’ works in any way

REBLOG THINGS! likes are useless on tumblr and they are a very bad way to save posts for yourself. your blog is literally meant to be an archive of your stuff and it’s much easier to find that stuff when you reblog AND TAG it. talking in tags is also a surefire way to make mutuals

I will also add my own tip: read all the tags under posts. Often (not always, not everyone) bloggers add some more things they want to say in the tags but don't want all the focus on that. Its usually more personal opinions on a certain matter or shitpost-like comments but i found that it can be really helpfull sometimes. Its just more information but a little hidden 😋
