What technique do you recommend for lifting at ulta? I really want the too faced natural eyes pallet and some other small things, but i dont know how to go about it. Ive mastered lifting cat food from target and claw caps from petsmart and food from the supermarket, but i get so nervous about makeup because i dont need it but if i want to get a good job i have to look good without getting allergic reactions to my makeup

just so you know, there’s nothing wrong with embracing the natural beauty..believe it or not, many companies enjoy a fresh face..meaning, a little conealer to brighten the under eye, a little brow pencil, some falsies,( on the demi/natural side of course) and a pink/nude lipstick with a cream finish or a nude gloss with no shimmer. that’s the perfect look! you don’t need to be a glamour doll to get a job, trust me..i do this because I have an addiction..to makeup, to hair, to cosmetology, shit, to the entire industry. but I was just born this way, I wanted to do hair and makeup since I was a little girl, and now I am licensed hair and makeup professional.

i lifted for the first time today! it was a small haul, just got two lipsticks, a pallete and eyeliner, but im proud! i got rly scared for a bit but im happy now and cant wait to do it again

just stay safe and be cautious, just because you get away with it, on’t lose your paranoia. the minute you get too comfortable is the minute you get caught, trust me

Hey.... X) I was wondering where the rfid tags are usually located on the naked, lorac, and ABH palettes

they’re usuallys only on naked palettes and they’re on the outside bottom in the back usually

also just as a warning make sure to have ur location stuff turned off on any devices ur posting photos from. most devices will capture the location with ur permissions & store it in the photo, & ppl can possibly find out where u live/lift that way. be careful xx

When getting from ulta, do you have to take the product out of the packaging box with the barcodes n such or just put it in your bag like that?

you can just take the whole thing, just make sure there’s no rfid tags on the box, most cases they’re usually on perfumes, naked palettes and high end skin care like exuviance or philosophy

I was lifting at Ulta today, and as I was concealing the manager walked up to me and asked where the items I had picked up went. I told her that I put them back and here are the remaining items. So I walk away, fussy baby in tow, and she yells at me across the store to ask again where the items are, so I say the same thing. I didn't beep and was in the blind spot, yet she and another SA followed me into the parking lot. What do I do?

they can’t do anything except maybe write down your license plate number, even though they may have suspected you stole something, unless they have physical proof, they can’t take any legal recourse. they might have filed a police report but most of the time if they go back and they can’t see you actually concealing something, they can’t do anything

So I left an ulta today and for the first time the alarm went off! The lady called me to go back but I just left and now I'm super freaked. She said she called security but I honestly don't know because I got the fuck out of there lol. Do you know what will happen or their shoplifting policy? I'm freaked the hell out please help!!!!!

you’ll be fine, for future reference you really should look for rfid tags before you leave, always check the boxes..you never know..and unless you saw her writing down your license plate, you should be fine...the most they will do is watch you carefully next time or ban you from that store, because technically they don't have any physical proof you stole anything, and they always need proof before they can take actions

Do you ever buy anything when you lift at Ulta? I mean like wouldn't it be weird to SAs if you came in quite often just to browse?

oh yeah I buy stuff all the time, I spent $70 today as well as getting some free stuff

so I got caught. I got caught stealing from a store that I have stolen from plenty of times without getting caught. When I walked out they came and grabbed me and my friend and took us to the lady's office and the police came and we had to go to the station and because we are minors we have to go to court soon. I'm so scared because I had over $200 stolen. People are telling me I won't go to juvie because I'm a minor and it's my first offense but I'm not sure. I'm terrified

you’ll most likely just get a fine or juvie probation. and luckily you’re record will get sealed when your 18, even better, they’ll probably give you a conditional discharge like if you stay out of trouble or don’ t get caught for 6 months-1 years, they’ll wipe it from your record permanently

okie dokie, I know I've been gone for a while, just took a little hiatus..soooo I need to know if someone gets caught in ulta, do they like plastor a picture of that person over every nearby ulta? or just the one you got caught at? you know how target and Walmart have this thing where they “share” the picture “across the nation”...how does ulta or even Sephora handle that?

Your Ulta lift 😍okay so anyways recently I lifted at Ulta and my technique was to bend down in the drugstore section and just put the item I wanted in my purse, I looked for cameras secretly but I never saw any! I don't know if im looking for the right thing, but anyways does thecameras see you if you bend down? Someone said they only see half of you if you're standing up.

Depends where the cameras are. There are always cameras, don't be oblivious. Always better to be overly cautious and I don't bend down a lot its sus some times.

What's an RFID tag?

A sensor that makes the towers beep at the front of a store when you walk through them.. Come in many shapes and sizes, I would Google them to get pictures, and learn what they look like

Most likely no, only on the outside, but it also depends on the area you live in, big city? Ghetto? Areas like that tend to have higher security measures

okay i'm asking on anon bc i literally have a porn blog and that's embarrassing but i still wanna ask this. so, a lot of people i know have gotten in trouble for stealing. i guess you guys call it lifting? they would take makeup from walmart. also one guy i knew got alcohol from walmart. they were all caught and went to court. anyway, i kind of want to try it. i'm so afraid of getting in trouble. can you redirect me to a how-to kind of thing if you already have one? idk how to do this!! thx <3

NEVER, EVER, EVER STEAL FROM WALMART, YOU WILL GET CAUGHT. trust and believe, spread the word. JUST DON'T DO IT. get makeup from Walgreen's or ulta. Better luck there. Vultures at Walmart..
