violet swallowed as she tried to process all this. the same explanations from both of them. there was no way it could just have happened by chance but... why couldn't she remember it? it showed clear on her face the unease as she tried hard to think of anything that didn't happen here. "im sorry... i wish i could remember." something in her chest tightened, feeling guilty for not knowing who he was. "we can be close here too. what were some things we used to do?"
Sal wasn't trying to overwhelm her with all of this, the last thing he wanted was to hurt her. But she had a life, a real life that she didn't seem to remember and that wasn't right. "I know, I'm sorry for dropping all of this on you, I didn't mean to upset you or anything." A small smile spread across his lips at her words. "I would like that, more than you know. You meant a lot to me, still do if I'm honest." He paused, titling his head to the side. "We hung out, went to this bar called Molly's, the owner is one of the firefighters that works with us, Herrmann. Whenever closing time came, we would just go to another bar, spent hours talking to each other."
