PAIRING ! Yuji Itadori x fem!reader
PRÉCIS ! like every other teenage girl, you fell in love with the superhero. but, he isnt the only one stealing your heart. you had your eye on the schools infamous class clown yuji itadori. but what you didnt know, is that the two were the same person.

yuji was doing his daily patrol after school. he made sure to remember to get to school before your newspaper club ended to take you to eat froyo by reciting it in his head over and over.
he props himself up on the edge of a building in manhattan. he stays there and waits until he feels something wrong. however, right now he feels as though he’d be useless.
he flicks his wrist outward to shoot out his webs but nothing comes out. ‘fuck’ he thought. “now how am i supposed to get home.” he stands up and walks towards the roof entrance, where he left his backpack.
he quickly pulls his normal clothes over his suit and sighed, flicking his wrist once more just in case it was a fluke but nothing came out.
he walks towards a wall to try and climb it but he ends up just falling. “great, how do i get down..” he gets up, dusting off his pants and heading to the roof entrance door. he wraps his hand around the handle and tries to pull it open but evidently fails. he groans, running his hands frantically through his hair.
he walks over to the ledge and sees the fire escape stairs. he crouches down, propping both of his hands on the ledge as he slowly lets his body drape down the building. the tips of his shoes planting against the railing and to the nearby window. he quietly hops down, and goes down the stairs slowly.
at the bottom, he kicks the ladder so itll slide down and climbs it down. he made his way down the alley, pulling out his phone to call inumaki.
after a few rings, a grumpy teenage boy could be heard on the other end. “hey inumaki.. are you home right now..?” inumaki is heard yawning on the other end.
yuji continued his walk over to the subway. “yeah, you interrupted my fuckass nap. what happened?”
“my bad.. you know if any of the guys so happen to be over here in manhattan or uhh.. chinatown..?” inumaki groans. “look man, im sorry! i called you first because youre almost always in chinatown i thought today would be one of those days..”
“why the hell are you in manhattan..?” yuji hears the rustling of sheets on the other end.
“came to see if there was any crime.. hey it could be worst i couldve been stranded in harlem! but im only in manhattan!.” yuji sees the entrance to the subway and jogs over.
“yeah. only. thats a 35 minute drive! and that doesnt even count traffic. whyre you stranded anyway? your webs dont work again or what?”
“nope. i think you guys might be right. i need to calm down being spiderman for a while..” he sighs, admitting it with a frown on his face. yuji runs down the stairs to make the next train.
“hey! didnt i tell you to not go off being spiderman because youre hanging out with yn today! its 4:56! are you even going to make it in time?” yuji briefly backs his phone away from his ear as his friend yells at him.
“i got time, dont worry. and if anything, i wont be late because of,, yk,, ill be late being me.”
“yeah yeah, just hurry up, im tryna be a good wingman here.”
yuji cracks a smile. “i wont let you down, again.”
“right. well im going back to sleep. if you need me, dont.” inumaki quickly hung up, leaving yuji alone with the busy station.
when the train arrived, yuji wasted no time entering. he finds an empty seat and plops down. the cold window hitting the back of his head as he tilted back. he opens his backpack, taking out his headphones and putting them on, to isolate himself from the world, just for an hour.
the ride there, the music that was playing through his headphones relaxed him. this was the moment he realized that he doesnt need to swing around the city for peace, he needed to take a few steps back, even make a 180.
time flew by fast, it was now 6:38. yuji hadnt move from his original spot until the train arrived at his destination. his headphones remained on his head to keep this calm energy.
he quickly pulled up his phone to text you.
yuji: hey yn :)) sorry im running late but im on my way to the school!
it didnt take long for a response back from you.
yn: hii no worries! i stayed back for a while to edit! so im still at the school!
yuji: great!! ill meet you there then :))
yn hearted a message.
yuji jogged his way over to the stairs and run up them quickly. he took a sharp right turn to head to the school quickly, silently hoping his powers magically come back to get there faster.
on the way there, he sees a flower shop. he quickly stops in his tracks and crosses the street, walking over to the door. the second he entered the tiny shop, his senses were overwhelmed with floral scents.
the florist greets yuji with a smile, “hello! welcome in. what can i get you?!” she waves.
“hello.. how much for a small bouquet..?” he looks around at all of the colorful flowers and how theyre all beautifully arranged.
“mm, well it depends on the type of flower! any idea what this special girls favorite flower is?” she taps her finger on the counter.
“ahh.. i dont actually.. any recommendations..?”
“whats she like..?” she steps forward from behind the counter and looks around at the flowers she has, squinting her eyes.
“well, she has a really fun personality, shes so beautiful.. insanely smart..” he rambles on without even meaning to. the florist gives him a small smile, noticing how red the tips of his ears are becoming.
“a mixed bouquet would be a beautiful choice.” she nods, looking over at yuji for approval.
“then a mixed bouquet we shall do!”
yuji checks the time, realizing he’d taken a bit too long deciding on what to get you. he quickly takes a second to text you that hes a couple minutes away from the school.
the florist handed yuji the bouquet as yuji handed her the money. yuji thanks the kind lady and walked out the small shop.
he started sprinting over the school and after a couple minutes, he spots you walking out of the school. “hey yn!” he waves over with a smile. he hides the flowers behind his back.
you look up and spot the boy. “hey yuji!” you smile. “whatcha got there?” you get closer and notice that hes hiding something. you tilt your head, waiting for an answer.
yuji gulps at the sight, seeing how pretty you looked under the orange sky, along with your small head tilt. he slowly reveals the flowers, and extends his arm forward, towards you. “these are for you..” he laughs awkwardly.
you gasp softly, a smile creeping up on your face. “yuji.. aw you didnt have to..” you take the flowers from him and bring them closer to you face to smell them. “theyre gorgeous, yuji..”
“pretty flowers for a pretty girl..” he rubs the back of his neck, nervously.
“thanks yuji..”
he nods, “well shall we..?”
you hum and you both started walking to a nearby froyo place. the entire walk there, your eyes remained on the pretty flowers, your smile would get bigger and bigger at each glance.
and so did yujis.
when he would see you look down at them, a proud smug expression appeared on his face. “it’s my way of trying to make up for last time. as well as froyo of course.” he licks his lips. “i still really need your help in spanish if you’re free soon..?”
“yeah of course, im free any day this week, no newspaper club or mathletes until next week so, if you want,, tomorrow..?”
“tomorrow works! why dont we meet up at my place this time?” he looks away as he lets his suggestion hang in the air for a moment. the tips of his ears growing red.
“sure! thats fine with me! right afterschool?”
“mhm! that works we could uhm.. walk to my place together!” he finally looks over at you and smiles brightly.
“sounds good to me, yuji!” you smile back before focusing back on walking to the froyo shop.
by the time you both get there, the conversation flowed smoother. the chime of the bell sounded through the small space when yuji opened the door. he stepped aside to let you enter first.
the shop employee greeted the two of you with a smile and watched as you two made your way towards the flavors. “which ones your favorite, yn..?” yuji asked hesitantly.
you hum, tapping your chin before finally giving him an answer. “im not sure.. i think almost all of them are like so good but..” you began to list of flavors youd choose over his choice, strawberry.
“that is not better than strawberry!” he scoffs a laugh. “the only flavor i will accept is cake batter. thats the only flavor that can surpass strawberry.” yuji stands his ground as he pulls the level down to fill up his froyo cup.
“your hair looks like strawberry froyo, is that why you like it so much?” he chuckles.
“nooo.. maybe.” he clears his throat. “its a really good froyo flavor!” he walks over to the topping, grabbing almost all of them.
“wow yuji, you sure love sweets huh..?” you walk over and grab whatever topping you wanted before walking over to pay.
the two of you placed your cups in the scale and yuji took out his wallet to pay. you both bid the employee goodbye and headed outside. you both didnt know where to really go but you both knew you wanted to stay with eachother. you aimlessly started walking with yuji following behind you.
“so uh.. its time to head home then.. right..?” yujis question lingered in the air for a moment.
“yeah.. yeah i suppose so..” you paused. “it is getting late isnt it..” you drag your feet, turning to the direction of your home.
“ill walk you there yeah..?” yuji gives you a smile, following behind you.
the two of you chatted under the stars about anything that came to mind; spiderman, class, project, mathletes. giggles would escape your mouths each time youd tell a horrible joke.
after about half an hour, you arrived home. “thanks for walking me home yuji.. you didnt have to.” you turned around to face him.
“of course i needed to, yn. i couldnt let you walk home by yourself.” he smiles awkwardly.
“right, thanks. ill see you at school tomorrow,”
“yeah! see you tomorrow yn.” he hesitates before walking closer to you and kissing your cheek. a faint wash of pink covering your cheeks instantly. “goodnight, pretty girl.”
“‘night yuji..” you slowly back away before turning your back to enter your apartment building. that night, you held you cheek with your hand and giggled so loudly your parents had to check if you hadnt gone crazy.
