Qifrey is living a tragic Romantic romance/horror. He thinks he’s dragging a star—not just any star, mind you, but “the sky’s kindest, most radiant star”, in fact—down from the heavens to rot beneath his boughs and roots alongside him. The only companion he’s ever held dearer is his grief, or perhaps his rage. He thinks he’s destined only to drown in the cold, waterlogged grave they never truly did dig him fully out of, and that he’ll cling to micro-doses of Olruggio of The Torch’s warmth until he extinguishes the very last vestiges of his fire, his potential, his destinies, too.

Olruggio is living in a slice-of-life cooking show and worries his Very Good Friend (who surely must know Olruggio holds the biggest torch ever made for by now, right?), who takes such good care of Olruggio and their 4 children, is Not Doing So Well™️ again

i wonder if everytime qifrey erases his memories he thinks he'd kill a version of him... how even if he's still the same it's no longer the person he was...

how many times have he thought of the first one he exchanged his tassels with?

i wonder if he ever look at the tassel and think of the boy he made promise with?

thinking of olruggio being one of the few qifrey lets touch his scar, and whenever olruggio cups his face it's always on his right cheek, thumbing the scars very gently...

I've always had many thoughts for young olly... his regrets of not being able to help and his fear through the whole process. fear of his best friend dying in front of him and having to lose his memories, but still keeping a brave face the whole time...

I think of him being regretful for many things but never once for loving his best friend, and he knows it'll never change with or without his memories

My OC - Dusk - in Witch Hat Atelier AU I never - I mean never - make AUs of existing media, because it feels off to shove my own creations into a world someone else had made. Well, that changed when I (accidentally) caught sight of the anime. Now I'm stuck here and my ass ain't leaving

Dusk would not be Qifrey's apprentice, nor anybody's apprentice for that matter (I just put her into the atelier's uniform because it was the easiest option, didnt have much time to design her own outfit). I think she'd be someone from the witch's world and pose as an apprentice to hide her real motives. Most likely would defect to the brimmed caps side down the line

I've been fcking obsessed over this manga for, years at this point, but the anime really dug me in. I've been collecting the physical volumes since 2023, and have been putting off actually reading it since even before. It's such a great world, with a great story that I felt like I needed to put aside actual time to fully consume the entire manga.
