▷OLIVIA◁
once olivia had topped her drink, she passed the canister back over and placed a lid on the drink. her shoulders shrugged lightly as her question. “eh, at first i was going to tell you not to worry about it, but then i guess it started calling my name.” she took a slow sip of her drink, careful not to burn her tongue. it kind of made her grimace, but it would have to work. she needed some form of caffeine. “i don’t think getting whipped cream this one time will make me get diabetes. besides, it’s not like i’m eating it by the spoonful. everyone’s allowed to cheat in one way or the other.” she moved out of the way as other people collected their trips, grabbing one of the holders to avoid burning her hand. olivia’s eyebrows scrunched together as she heard her answer, releasing a breath that she hadn’t realized she was holding. “of course it works, that was definitely the answer that i wanted to hear, thank you.” olivia gave a small smile as she spoke. “you know, now that i think about it? maybe i’ll take one of those cinnamon rolls, you know. to go ahead and boost my chances of getting diabetes.”
“if coffee, or any other type of object, is talking to you, then you need medical help.” calliope had a nasty habit of taking things in the literal sense. of course, she understood exactly what the blonde meant, but she still chose to ignore it. more comfort was found in her comment then saying ‘ oh daddy i feel that! ‘ because everybody related on some type of level but it was controversy that kept you thriving. “every little bit just gets added up in the equation.” tone is straight forward; having a little was fine, but everybody had a varying definition of what a little consisted of. certainly hers didn’t match that of the customers. drinks continued to be formed on a production-esque line, more patrons collecting their caffeine fixed that would’ve been more interesting than olivia, calliope was sure, but still. she was never one to duck from a challenge. “you want diabetes and you hate your bank account. good to know. i’ll be sure to never ask you for a loan if i need it.” the brunette was the first to admit that the coffee was overpriced, as were their other options of consumption, and it was ridiculous that people were willing to pay such things. “if you want it, back of the queue. do i look like a bouncer with a vip clipboard to you?? ---- on second thought, don’t answer that. unless you want to be banned from here for life.”
