It shouldnât have, but it actually surprised her that the Ravenclaw just immediately gave in, and she wasnât sure exactly how to react. On the one hand, it was extremely gratifying to see the so-called hero kids starting to give her the recognition she deserved. On the other, it wasnât as much fun when they didnât fight back. Sort of like kicking a puppy, or something else equally as pathetic but slightly more useful than her brother.
âThatâs it? Youâre just gonna take that, no argument? The hellâs wrong with you?â It wasnât that she cared. She just wasnât used to that instant and dejected acceptance, and it was kind of freaking her out.
Caspian slowly looked up, putting his attention to something behind her shoulder. Whatever small molecule there was. His shoulders lifted up in a shrug, not really having an answer for her. It wasnât that he had anything to argue anyways. And if he did, there wasnât much to argue about. He just couldnât talk to people and would avoid them like a plague. It was such a minor flaw in his personality- amongst many other flaws.Â
