Well my kids did it again. They surprised me with two new bags for Christmas. A Dooney Disney sketch dogs bag and a Kate’s spade Bambi tote. Love them both. I think I have well over 20 bags not including wallets.
I will add pictures as soon as I can take them with both bags.
Since my first two Disney Dooney’s I have since purchased many more. To say that Dooney and Bourke is my favorite purse is an understatement. I have several wallets, a couple backpacks and multiple totes. I have even bought my daughter several satchels as well as wallets. I included my mother in my obsession and got her the Disney Dooney 50th Haunted Mansion tote as her first one. She kept telling me she was going to “borrow” mine since I have so many. So I have the second edition large shopper tote as my First then the Minnie and Mickey in ground of sleeping Beauty’s castle. Next I purchased the Minnie and Mickey in front of Cinderella’s castle. I am not even sure I can list all of them because there are many of them.
A few I can recall off the top of my head are the haunted mansion 50th as well as the light purple wall paper 1st edition totes. The jerrod Maruyama backpack x2 and the tote. Minnie and Mickey valentines 2022 tote and wallet. Lady and the tramp 1st print tote. Moana tote first print. Satchel second print. Cinderella tote. Little Mermaid 2nd print plus wallet. Dvc print with pink interior from 2019 tote and wallet. Dogs sketch wallet. Aladdin 30th tote. Steam boat willie backpack and tote. Brown leather sketch small crossbody. Disney cats sketch tote. Disney Dogs sketch wallet. Disney sidekicks tote and magic band Disney sketch small zipper wallet and makeup bag. If I missed any I will update.
The ones that I wanted and missed are theLady and the Tramp second edition tote. The Jimmy Chou tote. Ariel, Belle, Mulan and the pale green orange Bird tote. I have purchased others for my daughter and my mother but I do not count those as mine.
Cant wait for mother’s Day Weekend. Gonna be back in Orlando visiting the parks. Taking my mom for the weekend and leaving my hubby and kids home to fend for themselves. Within the past few years I have gotten my mother into the Disney Dooney purses. She also has started a collection. I gave her her first purse which was the haunted mansion 50th anniversary tote. She loved mine so much and kept mentioning she was gonna just come and grab it because I have enough and wouldn’t realize it was gone. LOL I would actually notice it was gone. Hoping to be able to purchase a bag or two while we are down there. The new Ariel one and possibly the Snow White one. I missed out on shop Disney for the Ariel one because it sold out so quickly. The Disney shoppers are great its just sometimes the fees are a bit much. So I will try to hold out to see if it either comes back on shop disney or is available in the parks when we are there.
My second Dooney.
My second Dooney bag was the Disneyland Sleeping beauty castle bag with Minnie and Mickey sitting at a table in front of the castle. My husband bought me this bag not realizing that there was one bag to represent Walt Disney World and the other to represent Disneyland. This tote is a lot smaller than my first tote. It is still a good size purse. Again it is a white background with the leather piping on the base of the bag with a light blue interior. This bag did not have the discoloring issue that my first bag had. Again I carried this bag very often. I think I do have to send this bag back to Dooney for the piping repairs. I am not sure if I have done that with this bag or not. Again I have quite a few bags so it is a little bit of a issue to keep track of what bag may or may not need attention. I still use my small Disney sketch wallet that matches my original bag. I do have other wallets but this one I do carry all the time as well as one of the larger wallets. I believe after this bag I did purchase the Walt Disney World bag that had the same silhouette as my second bag. Same shape as well as trim and interior. I loved the print so I decided I needed to have bags to represent both parks.
Do you think a Disney should bring back annual passes? What about ditching Genie plus and the whole reservation system?

My Disney Dooney & Bourke collection/obsession
My Disney Dooney & Bourke collection/obsession started in December of 2012. My husband bought me my first Disney Dooney Tote. It was called the large shopper tote. Loved it and since our kids were young and the bag was huge it was able to hold a lot of kids stuff as well as my personal items. The bag was white with the sketch pattern that is still available today. I still have that bag and it is well used. I even had used it so much that the piping along the bottom needed to be repaired. Dooney is great I called them up and asked if they did repairs, they did so I followed their instructions on how to send it to them to be fixed and when they had it all repaired they sent it back. My next Disney Dooney item was the small sketch wallet that matched my purse. My collection/obsession was started. Over the years I have added several more totes, wallets, backpacks and passed my love of these bags on to my daughter as well as my mother. I really love how well the bags are made. My first Dooney I carried for about 3 years. Like I said it was well loved. The only downfall with the white sketch pattern that I had was that it did turn yellowish in some spots. I also wished that the interiors were removable and able to be washed. Other than that Dooney is my bag of choice over the past eleven years. I do know that I have more Dooney purses than most normal people and that I do not get rid of my purses. I retire them and they sit in a tote away from the elements. There are some Dooney's that I wish I had gotten and some patterns that I do not like at all. I figure I love my Dooney's and I am sure others out there do as well. I have decided that I can blog about my obession as well as post which Disney Dooney pieces I have and talk about what I like or dislike about certain styles. So please feel free to comment on if you love Disney Dooney's as well and we can all share what w love about these bags and what we might have designed differently.
