He doesn't act cowardly in situations where he knows someone could die. In fact, the only time I ever saw that was in the prolouge of Blood Covered and throughout the Live Action Movie (wHICH I HATED BTW???) But in the Live Action Movie I see him as very ooc. (Pretty sure it was so they could make Naomi the protagonist, cause she was also extremely ooc.) He's trying to be brave for his sister and the person he loves, which I can respect on so many levels. Other characters were panicking a lot, with the exception of Yoshiki, Seiko, Mayu, and Mrs. Yui. I understand Naomi's case; her best friend died, but if I were her, I wouldn't go sobbing about it forever. After all, I don't want to die either. And, let's be honest-- if Satoshi didn't show up, she'd be dead. Sure, maybe leaving Yuka to do her business wasn't the smartest thing, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about her. In fact, he was probably standing right outside the door, and didn't leave that spot until he was knocked out. That's pretty much proven with his concern for Yuka when he wakes up, and in the anime where Sachiko gets his attention right after Yuka screams. Sure, he may be generic, but why don't any of you noticr his good points? Most of you talkabout Yoshiki-- and in 2U, he enters the race so he can take Ayumi back, while Satoshi doesn't because he, and I quote fROM THE ACTUAL GAME "Wants to go home with everyone." Not that I hate Yoshiki or anything, because I do love him-- he my second favorite boy. But I'm stating this is one of the reasons why I prefer Satoshi over Yoshiki. Let's be honest, everyone in Corpse Party made some bad decisions. Some people dislike him for his harem. Do you think he wants all these girls to like him? In fact, he's pretty oblivious to most of their crushes on him. The only exception is when he figures out Yuka loves him in the other ending of Blood Covered. He's not a player of any sort. You can say he doesn't do much, but that's because he knows he has limits and doesn't react stupidly to most situations. He knows when he should leave something the way it is. Also to mention, he retreived the journal from the nurses office while Naomi and Yuka got headaches getting even remotely close to it. And importantly, he was the most stable person who had ended up in Heavenly Host, and was the one to appease Sachiko. He can get scared shitless by the dark and ghost stories, but he knows when to keep a cool head to save his friends and family. Oh, and just a reminder he is one of the reasons Yoshiki shows up to school-- Yoshiki doesn't just give a shit about Ayumi. It's also implied that he also reminds Yoshiki to eat sometimes, when Miki doesn't. Anyways, you may claim he doesn't do much, or that he's unimportant, but that's never actually true.
